This was a cool episode. I'm not big into purple or sequins or whatever.. I'm pretty sure they did some editing for drama but they made it look like Andrew barely did anything on day one. Poor Leslie just worked away on the embroidery. Looks like Evan can still do handstands. His dance routine was funny. I loved Leslie's "my hoops" bit. Especially the way John reacted. He looked like he was laughing pretty hard. Leslie can always seem to cheer him up. I hope Evan had permission to take the rebar from that broken sea wall. Even though it was broken, sometimes city officials can be... well... I can't think of a polite word to describe it. I wonder if that was the plan all along to use the rebar from that, or if John had something else in mind. I think Evan did well with the sledgehammer. Especially compared to an earlier episode where he tried to break a concrete brick wall and the hammer just bounced off. I'm sure he was glad to get to use his welding skills. Its only a shame he didn't learn to weld earlier in his career because I think he could've done welding projects while Andrew did other things. The homeowner at the end really seemed to love the room so it was cool.
I loved this episode- the dance-off between Evan & Leslie & Andrew was hilarious!! I love it when they act silly. Geez I'm gonna miss this show....gul, gulp
I liked this episode too. And I've gotta say, Evan is just the hottest dude on the planet. On the planet!
BTW, please someone tell me that this is not the actual final episode ever for WYWO. I just finished watching the series finale of Charmed, and Will & Grace last Thursday, and my brother watched the series finale of Justice League on Cartoon Network...tis the season of series finales I suppose...;-(
That was John's second to last episode. There is still an episode with Mark that has yet to air. Possibly one other. John did the final episode. Not sure when they will air because TLC seems to be doing new episodes every other week now. I think the schedule lists them as weekly, but they are dragging it out. I just noticed that Evan actually posted on his blog about the end of WYWO and his new show. But it didn't move to the top of his list like it should have. Its at 4/10/06 somewhere in the middle.
from the schedule i saw there should be 4 more episodes, but like sue said who knows when they'll air.
as for this ep, well there goes john again with his remarkable creativity. the hand hat hooks, the tap alarm clock, the shelving for his collectibles, and that bedspread. working on something like that would make me crazy, but it sure looked great. even leslie, (who loved doing that tedious pixel project on re-purpose for the people), was getting a little crazed with it. i also liked the dance off. i've noticed both andrew and evan tapping many times in past eps. they both have some dance experience, but leslie had to get creative and wing it with her hoops. that was funny. it was definatly a artistic room for an artistic person. it really did have a cool look in the end. and the homeowner (forgot her name) had a really cute personality.
sue, i went on evans site and found a calendar and appearance entry, but really couldn't see any info on his show. his last journal entry was back in november. where exactly did you see the entry for 4/10/06.

It's there but not at the top. For some reason the entries are in order of month but not month/year.
thanks sandra, the way you described the month not year made it easier for me, the lame one, to figure out. su mentioned it being in the middle, but i didn't get it then. your reply popped up when i was checking out the board and it was strang to see it pop up in a flash. you can tell he knows it's not the same type of show for us fans, but i think he's trying to encourage us to check it out. and he did acknowledge the fact that wywo will end up on discovery home when it's over on tlc. it's all so sad.
Interesting show. The tap dancer dude looks like a lot of fun. Again, Andrew at his finest! What a talented guy. I hope he lands on another show soon. Leslie did a good job on that duvet.
