Hey Z,

This board has become a waste of time. Example, I intentionally stayed out of the debates with "Math" and "Big",... I really had nothing positive to contribute to the "so called" discussion. So about 2:00 p.m. today, I posted and merely suggested that 'Big' was being reasonable and had attempted to apologize, yet "Math" chose to disregard the offer of the "olive branch", then, similar to Big, I suggested that we stick to discussing motorcycles, etc. My entire post was erased within a couple of hours ,... go figure? Wahh-wahh is right! Fact, there have been more posts completely "chopped" since "Math" arrived, than during the entire 14 months I've been a member.
I'd like to see an explanation for that one.

Hey Mod, I suggest you chop the "mathematician" permanently and let the "Big Dog" eat! Why should we have to put up with instigators who swim too far out to save themselves?

well, if you would'nt talk about subject you don't understand, we would'nt have to correct you. just talk about the show, and the bikes, not about how to build a tank, ok?

and yes, i did try to offer a peace treaty and apologized, and you chose not to accept, so what does that tell everyone out there. you act so PC, but then you can't even accept a genuine apology?

hey ny_pitbull, whoever you are, let me tell you something man, i am on hugh's side, so i don't even know what your talking about, i was being sarcastic, maybe you were too? thats all good. i was pleased to see that the MX show is now not the only non-chopper show. i saw the road-racer buildoff last night and i am anxiously awaiting to hear what everyone has to say about that one. and one more thing pbull, i am not a keyboard warrior, or whatever the hell you called me, and yeah, i got two doors on my house ok! i'm a hardcore asskicken biker who grabs life by the short and curleys, and am not affraid to tell anyone about me or what i think about anyone or anything else. so put that in your exhaust pipe and smoke it. peace out brother. -bigdog

I was just reading through this forum and I had to join so I could add my narrow minded opinion.first off zenweasel says the metz link buildoff was the first real chopper build. well the words chopper and bobber really have no meaning any more. But I guess he missed the roland sands build where he started his build with a 100th aniversary harley and CHOPPED it. Now I have not seen the mx build yet but it sounds like it was no good anyway but I would like to see more variety in the show not every custom bike has to be a v-twin. It would also be nice to see some new builders, the best part of all the chopper shows it what it does for the industry and the builders they showcase.

I think the buildoff wasn't that bad. THere was a lot of posing and trash talk at the beginning but that was funny more than offensive.

I wouldn't want to see another motocross buildoff but this was a nice change. I though Linkogle's bike and attitude were superior to Metz's. Metz's big trick was using his high profile and corporate influence to weazle some rims from Roland and a not-for-public suspension system? Link did more and road harder than Metz.

After just watching the Charro vs. Suter show, I think this was THE WORST episode ever on Biker Build-Off. Neither builder had much at all to do with the actual design or building of these bikes. I would sure like to hear what actual designer/builders thought of these two "biker builders"

Hey at least Charo can lay claim to the best headlights ever on Biker Build-Off, and watch a joy watching her kick that Knuckle. I bet you didn't turn it off tomas46

Nominally, "chopping" began the guys came back from WWI. They took the Harleys and Indians they got issued and adapted them to their needs in service. When they got back they chopped what they could find here. Kind of like when they came back from WWII and started on the rat-rods. Thusly a true "chopper" is a bike taken from stock to something else. Those created from the frame up as choppers are different things.

I think this season was pretty rough. I have some of the odvious complaints. This show started about bringing builder most of america has never heard of and showcasing the artistry that is this industry. It has turned into a hodge podge of stuff that will bring in more viewers ie races, dirt bikes, and baggers. Enough with the little gimmicks. It is somewhat insulting to the core group of fans. You may snag a few new viewers tuning in but i think that what you get are long time fans tuning out. Personally I like seing people build custom bikes. Any episode with one of the ness clan. Okay okay you made radical unridable bikes back in the day and you spawned an industry, great, thank you. Do I really want to see you pay someone to build your bike for you with almighty guidance from on high? None the least win on your long standing name. Do I really have to watch the second generation follow pretty much in your footsteps, and then as if to kick me in my brain when it already hurts I have to hear the next spoiled generation blabber on the screen? Ditto with Trotta commanding his build team while all he does is moan, although he does have the knowlege i just dont think he has had a real original idea on the show. Go back a couple of seasons when Bourget competed, he says that he hast been in the shop in a long time but he got in there and built a bike. I think this show should go back to people with unbelievable skills building bikes from the ground up. Especially people who have not been on the show yet, "unknowns" that could really use the exposure. I will give all the credit to the people who have made this show great; Hotch, Exile, Kendall etc. I will suffer through Hugh's delusion of hardcore coolness and stay tuned to watch the BUILDERS. Bring back the older version of the show. I liked that people could stop somewhere to buy a part or to use someones garage or shop to fix their bike, it helped showcase others in this industry who are not on the high profile side. BRING BACK THE SHOW I LOVED! Although it will take a lot to stop me from watching. Once I am gone, I am gone. I think a lot of others are with me on this.
