Dear: Fellow BIKER BUILD-OFFers

What was -- In your opinion -- the worst
BIKER BUILD OFF moment:

In my opinion, it was Harold Ponterelli's bike.
In his heads up with EL PITTs of VEGAS CITY CHOPPERs it seemed that all HAROLD PONTARELLI did was build what he thought would win.
In doing so he pulled out every modern cliche in the booK:

--1. "tired old" sharp-lined low bike.
Nothing wrong with long, low bikes with sharp lines, but after several years of seeing JOE MARTIN's work, Builders have to bring something new to the table.
--2. "tired old" bright TONKA-TRUCK orange.
--3. "tired old" tribal tattoo graphics.

******** ALL HE WANTED WAS TO WIN, but BBO is more than that -- its at its best when a Bike builders "philosphy-through-work" shines through.

Billy Lame's burning tank, actually that was a highlight. He is lucky those greasy locks didn't go up in flames.

b) girl wins that doesn't build
c) alsop(obvious)
d) ponterelli (obvious)
e) marcus waltz... is this guy w/ the U.N. or what?
f) trikes...YIKES!!!
g) brian klock experiences emaculate conception of a stock bike
h) so much salt... so few contenders

IT'S A TOSS UP!!!!

I happen to be a fan of Joe Martin, Matt Hotch, and Harold Pontarelli. The only new styles of design I have seen straight out of the box is the style they developed. Yea, its been around awhile but all this "new" stuff is just old styles coming back. Its called a "trend" they come around about every 20 years, you might want to check the history of motorcycles so you will know what the new ones will look like. I think its a joke, when you call it "new". I think the designers that work for the foreign motorcycle industry should receive the award for this so called "new" look your referring to, it started back when, around 1980 something. Apparently you havent liked many of the shows according to your list so maybe you should find something else to watch. Oh yea, arent the builders suppose to build something that will win?

The 2 worst biker build off moments were very recent!
The first one was when a BAGGER beat a real chopper. What was special about the bagger, oh it had cool bags and a longer frame! WOW that bike is cool, wait its a BAGGER, NO BAGGERS ARE EVER COOL. My grandfather and all his friends must have been there voting, because nobody but old people like those boats.
THE WORST was when Matt Hotch lost to A DIRTBIKE!!!

Most any episode with Billy Lane. I thought your bike was suppose to run?
The bagger I also thought should have lost. And I ever like baggers.

The worst BBO moments are any and all the shows that have featured dirt bikes, baggers, or anything else that wasn't a chopper! And I wouldn't mind chicks competing, as long as they actually BUILD the bike! The woman who competed and won the BBO, didn't do anything on the bike except ride it! I mean come on fellas...whats next???? They let Paul Tuettal compete with a theme bike? Sorry....that wasn't even funny !

Any show with the Det Bros. I thought this was supposed to be about bike builders, not another show about dysfunctional familes.

I think the worst moment i've seen was the moment this past season started. WHY CHANGE WHAT'S WORKING? for those of you saying "why keep watching if all you do is complain?", I stopped watching after the trike episode. just couldn't take it anymore.
