The exhaust is going to remind people of the old Elsinore down pipe. If they paint the bike red, it'll remind folks of an XR75.

I think its going to be cool. A real change from their usual approach. Something that can actually be ridden.

I think it will be an interesting bike when it's done, something different. However, it's apparent they can do absolutely nothing that people won't gripe about, whine about, and find fault with.

I got a brand new XR75 back in 1974 for Christmas.

To me, hands down, this was the best episode of AC in at least a year. I was worried at first because it took 12 minutes to get to the shop, but then they spent a good deal of time on the actual build, welding, designing, etc.
Then the fight...I almost turned it off after that, but the apologies to the company kept me watching. While the fight was classless, the apologies were the most classy thing those guys have ever done. Mikey was under control and insightful and, to me, it's clear now why his behavior is what it is ... it's how he has dealt with what was probably a lifetime of watching those fights. And it explains why his dad lets him get away with it -- because he is the cause of said behavior.
While I usually skip the antics, the campout was pretty funny too. I thought it was funny when Jr shot Sr with the paintball and then the fireworks in the fire ... classic :-)

When they start in on each other I turn it off. It's the same old cr*p for what, going on five years now? Enough already with the fighting ... it's SO old!

I like the bike. I have seen it completed, and it turns out well. It is original, and it is interesting to watch them design and build something different. I can do without the fighting. I won't bore anyone with my amateur psychology, though. I never like seeing them fight. It always makes me feel like I'm seeing something that is personal and none of my business to be watching. I commend them for apologizing to the employees, though. They exhibited a level of professionalism and maturity they have never shown before by doing that. The camping trip was entertaining, and had some good laughs. I really didn't need to know that Senior had a colonoscopy, though.

Yeah I agree. I contrast that to the Australia show that they showed just prior which bored me to tears. One of the reasons that made the show good was that they seemed to be into the Gander Mountain build.

After not much thought, and viewing the finished product earlier? The bike appears to be pretty heavy. I wouldn't want to go trail riding on it...for fear of being injured. See, the weight of the motorcycle would lead to compromised steering and handling on a real trail. Even if you were only going 15 miles an hour. Next thing you know, a big rock careens you into a stand of young pine trees.

Thought the bike was cool and enjoyed most of the show this week except for Jason part. Don't understand why he needs to be a co-star. Do they think everyone is tuning in to watch Jason? IMO, they need to hire someone with experience and personality, like Vinnie. However, the bike was different and I liked it.

I'm crazy about this show, I always love a new episode, but..... H onestly this thing they are doing with Mikey and Senior doing some foolish activity together every show is getting old fast. Real fast! I'm sure that is Senior pulling some strings for more air time,(what his wedding wasn't enough to last us for a long time?) but the staged stuff is not entertaining for me. More Bike Building PLEASE! And Yes, loved this bike really different. Paulie seems to be holding up OK with out Vin; miss you Vinnie; lov ya Paulie!

I think they should have concentrated on the Brazil bike build than the stupid Gander Mountain bike. There was nothing special about that bike in my opinion...

This video shows Sr before he quit drinking. He's the guy who saves the girl in the red wig from mans inhumanity towards man. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1nzEFMjkI4 Only joking of course... But the Gander Mountain bike really was a waist of time...

Maybe JM will read this, and tell us what is up with the Brazilian President. I liked the segment at Tarjac. It was interesting to see how Fluid Imaging Technology works.

Does anyone think that Sr. will pay Vinnie to teach Rick how to bend handlebars?

I don't think he will.

Rick should go work with Vinnie and Cody and then have Discovery or TLC put them on TV up against American Chopper. I bet they would have better ratings, not to mention a better show and product than OCC...

They've already been through the "circus atmosphere" of working in a shop while being filmed ... what makes you think they want to do that again??

How about an episode on Sr.'s & Beth's pre-nuptual agreement with arguing at the lawyers' offices, the wedding, and the Honeymoon? Do you think he gave her Lucy's old bike as a wedding gift? Do you think they smashed up the reception hall?
