Hey Peeps! Hope you all had a nice holiday and noone choked on any chicken bones I hope! Big Grin

Ok, good!

I wanted to share this little funny but interesting experience I had yesterday! I was on my way home from relatives.. it had been a nice weekend.. good food, laughs, hugs, kisses, etc.. etc...

Our bellies were full of life and well the car didn't smell that good but no worries I left the windows open all night. Anywaayyzzz

The story... The story!!

Ok.. so I had come to a red light on a parkway... it was a long light! As I pulled up to the light there had already been a motorcycle there waiting at the light. I glanced over.. there was a guy he was very dirty and greasy.. he was a really cool looking guy... he actually looked like Adam West (who I don't like) but that's who he looked like. He was very greasy, as I said.. and the funny part was that in his pocket, sticking out, was one of those air-drills.. ya know you hook em up to the air hose and they're used to take off tire lugs etc... Can you imagine.. a lug taker-offer in your pocket as you ride down the parkway on your Harley? Hey it's America!! And I love our Country!

So, as I say the light was long.. and well my wife and i found this guy to be quite interesting.. so I rolled down my window (lost all the cool air in the cabin but it was worth it trust me).. So I saw the Harley bike it was nice.. it wasn't a chopper but it was a really nice bike probably a year old or so... So this very Batmanny looking guy glanced over at us, he cracked a nice smile.. he was a really nice guy (as are most bikers, ya know). So I shouted over to him... I said "Hey would you ever buy an O.C.C. bike?" The guy looked back without a whince.. he knew exactly what and whom I was speaking of (wow everyone knows about OCC, Or maybe it's just Bikers who do I don't know I mean it's not like OCC's on tv all the time ya know) Anywayz... So the man answered back... He said this people "Nah.. not me but as a matter of fact a good friend of mine has an OCC bike... So I said "They're too expensive right?", and he said "No, it's not that.. it's just that his (OCC) Bike 'breaks down all the time'!" Well, we (in the car) all looked at eachother simultaneously (because i was considering buying one).... So I said "seriously".. (and well we all know that batman doesn't lie!) But no, this guy was serious.. and at this point the very nice guy waved to us all and proceeded to take off (and man doesn't a Harely sound nice).

I just want to say that this was a very interesting and to say the least a very important tiny conversation, it was short, to the point, and packed with testimonial information!!! I wanted to know, are there others out here perhaps whom visit this forum who've gotten an OCC bike? If so, how's the reliability of them? For the price, they should run like a swiss watch, no?

Very interesting, people, because you know outside of the magazines, the commercials, and the tv shows.. the most important of all product advertisements are "the word on the street" And this report was brought to you by 'Where did OCC go Inc."

Wasn't there a missing show this Monday or was it just me, I tried to catch the 2AM show but it was 'deadliest catch' I think that was playing..

Well, hey love ya all!!

Yea, if some guy I didn't know told me something was no good, that would be enough to convince me.

And he had an impact wrench in his pocket?

I'll give credit for the effort, it's deserved. I read his post with comprehension. A major improvement.

Learning proper spelling by rote is a traditional element of elementary education. In the US, the ubiquity of the phonics method of teaching reading, which emphasizes the importance of "sounding out" spelling in learning to read, also puts a premium on the prescriptive learning of spelling. For these reasons, divergence from standard spelling is often perceived as an index of stupidity, illiteracy, or lower class standing.

I work with a guy that has one. He's had it less than 1 yaer, and it's been in the shop 3 times. Apparently when you buy one of those raffle tickets you are responsible for taxes. The person who won this bike did not have $12,000, which was what the taxes were. So Darrin offered the guy $25,000 for the bike, and got it! Unfortunatly it's been npthing but trouble. But buy it's a beatiful bike.
