A show with Vinnie building bikes or even cars from scratch without all the drama. Just build and show the viewer what he`s doing. Without all the bull like American chopper. I am really sick of Paul Sr. and Paul Jr`s. big heads if you really look and listen to Jr.he dosen`t know what the hell he`s doing. Sure he can draw them but can he build them without a another Vinnie? Vinnie deserved better than what he got!!!!

No, Vinnie and Rick work well together you should hired him back. I'm tried of Jason Pohl, their is enough clown on the show. Vinnie is a really good worker.

I'm wondering if Vinnie doesn't have enough clientele yet....i miss him on the show and have NOTHING good to say about bumbling Jason...except.....hallelujah Paul Sr. FINALLY woke up and saw how inept/useless Jason is and how costly it is having him attempt to help build bikes!

That was cool that they brought Jeff Clegg back. He seems like a good guy. I agree, Jason is a talented artist and it's great that he wants to learn, but if that's what he wants he needs a LOT more time before he should be on-camera (that just makes OCC look bad).

As for Vinnie, I think he did great work, but as you say Jr is a designer and not a fabricator (although i disagree with that), Vinnie is a mechanic/fabricator and not a designer. The things that he designed (that I've seen, which I'm sure isn't even close to all the things he's done) lacked a lot of spark/flair that Jr does have. They were a good team and it's too bad they're apart.

I think if Vinnie can pull it off they should maybe talk to him with the possibility of a show. After all, they gave one to that dumb broad who does tattoos out in LA. And she's a spinoff from a competing show.

I doubt he'd want to invite all of the drama into his life again BUT if the price was right and he did except an offer he couldn't refuse, you can bet that he'd be about building great dependable bikes and not nearly as much fluff and town foolery as American Chopper has reduced it self to...

If Vinnie and Cody want to be taken seriously as builders and not become a quasi-joke like OCC has they should steer away from TV and get their exposure from word of mouth and car and bike shows. They should NEVER consider any kind of TV show if that Craig Pilligian or whatever his name is is involved.

If they offered me a deal to advertise my business
for an hour every week and pay me for it I'd take it.

Vinnie should have a show to advertise his business.

I love Vinnie, it's cool that he has his own business. Could he carry a show on his own? I don't think so. Vinnie's cool but I watch American Chopper for the dynamics not just the bike building. I think Vinnie likes the semi obscurity. That being said though, if he did get a show, I would watch.

I think a show of his builds could be cool. But then what about a show of him traveling around the country visiting and show caseing other builders? That might work.

Maybe a show of him doing laundry? Or, maybe sweeping out the garage and taking the trash down to the road??

How about putting Vance and Cody on Animal Planet with a bat catching show or a day time show with him and Mikey at the beauty parlor? I would think the possibilities are endless, although who, really, would watch Vance for more than one show besides the 20 people who post here? However, I can see him being as popular as Southern Steel and their six episodes. (What's that? Oh - sorry - SEVEN episodes?)

A FANTASTIC show idea would be to have one of the OCC bikes that need fixing (shortly after they've been built by OCC)brought into Vinnies V Force custom shop to be fixed and have that filmed. AWESOME!!!

I hope they get a show, but they won't. I understand you have to be oppositional, but who REALLY thinks that they will get a show?

MrsT, you just gave me a GREAT idea!!

When they left Vinnie alone with the Commanche Bike, he couldn't get it running and Joe Molloy from H&L had to come in to fix it. Vinnie couldn't get his OWN bike, that Sr. let him build, running by the end of the episode. Vance had used too long rods in the motor and couldn't get it started and needed help to figure that out. The Jay Leno bike, that supposedly Jay had to have someone else completely re-wire because it kept shorting out, was wired by Vance.

So here the idea: how about bringing in some of the bike's from "Vinnie's V Force custom shop" that need repairs shortly after he builds them and have Mike Amarati and Christian fix them at OCC? Then, they can go on camera and complain that Sr. takes all the credit for their work and doesn't pay them enough!!

Just an option for some good TV!!!

Thanks for the GREAT IDEA!!!!!

I agree, Vinnie can't fix anything. After all, he did have to bring Joe Malloy in to fix the Comanche bike. The fact that Joe had to bring someone else in to help him, well we can ignore that of course.

And dumb old Vinnie couldn't fix his own bike either. The fact that he was back stage at a bike show with no tools is beside the point. He should have been able to fix it with a paperclip and some string.

Bad, bad Vinnie.

He didn't want to let the cat out of the bag. That bike builder image was nothing more than a facade for Vincent "MacGyver" DiMartino's work with the Phoenix Foundation. Occasionally it would become evident, like when he used a clothes hanger and piece of chewing gum to get Sr's keys out of his locked Hummer. Wink
