I don't know if this is something that can be explored on the show, but hospitals dispose of tons of biohazardous materials. I've always wondered where they went and how it was dealt with. When needles are thrown out or tumors removed, what happens to those things? Just a thought.
I have had the chance to work in the Sterile processing center of a hospital. It is gross on the decontamination side of it you have to clean all the dirty surgical instruments to be used on patients again. Yes you do get to see some body peices but not much usually just blood. I don't think that they would allow mike and the crew in there to do that, I mean think about it the people that work there are trained in that area and it could be a health issue for the crew being exposed to blood born pathogens. I think it is a true dirty job but not one that the Discovery Channel will let Mike try.
