Hi there, Mike and the Dirty Jobs crew.

My name is Jo, I live in southern Florida. I am a long time watcher and a big fan of all of you.

My uncles have been installing and removing carpets in homes and commercial locations for as long as I can remember. Having once assisted in removing and installing a new set of carpet in my bedroom once, I can tell you that it can be an especially dirty job. You would not believe just how much crap can get under/on/in/on top of a carpet after a few years of being in an inhabited home.

In places like Florida and Louisiana I can tell you that one of the biggest problems is moisture and mold getting under the carpet. While my mother doesn't believe this to be a dirty job, I can tell you that it certainly can be a dirty and difficult one. (Those huge rolls of carpet weigh a ton.)

In short, my suggestion to you is to try removing and installing carpet.

I hope my suggestion helps. :3
