I work for Yarbrough Cable Service in Memphis, TN. We work with wire rope that we fabricate into lifting and/or pulling slings. There are many different slings that we can make and they are all put together by hand. Slings range in size from 1/16" to 4-1/2" diameter rope. We also make braids using fork lifts as well as pour sockets on the ends using zinc. This is a very physically demanding job as well as dangerous because there is alot of room for human error. It is very dirty as well due to all the rope is covered in lube. We hope this sounds appealing.

I also forgot to add in that we have a 1500 ton test bed that we use to test and or break slings, shackles, beams or anything needed to be broken or tested. I am sure Mike would have fun using that.
