There's a large cat/animal refuge in North West Arkansas called Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge ---> Turpentine Creek
There's only around a dozen such reputable sanctuaries around the country. Unwanted tigers/lions and other large animals like bears are taken in and cared for the remainder of their lives. They're open for tours and it was pretty interesting. They have to feed the animals every day and clean their habitats and cages. It's a cross between an animal retirement home and zoo.
In case you didn't know, large cats can "spray" over 10 feet away behind them. They also have habitats which are constructed and the ones in use are obviously cleaned.
