I work in at United Fiberglass of America in Springfield Ohio. If dusty, dirty, and sticky is what the show is all about my place of work is an ace in hole. Cutting pipe, or winding parts it is dirty no matter what. Get covered in resin and blasted with dust.
We machine spread top soil and compost on turf using top dressing machines. We do this to amend the soil and level the lawn. We follow that process with a core aeration to break up compaction and incorporate the top soil and compost mixture into the existing clay soil. We do a couple of hundred jobs a year. This is the same process used on golf coarses that we bring to residential customers. A job usually takes about three to five hours. I have a conveyer truck that loads the topdresser to save labor but it is still dusty and dirty working with top soil all day in the heat.
