Compared to some of the dirty jobs, this might not seem to be a big deal. But in the summer, this is a dirty job. Surveying is the base of any operation in America. To build a house, sell a house, an office complex, etc... Every piece of the land has to be surveyed, and many a times, this includes cutting line (a straight area of sight for the machines to work), pounding irons, and carrying and running some large equipment. Depending on where you are you can run into snakes, deer, coyotes, wild dogs, and much much more. Working in North Carolina in the dead of summer as a surveyor is a Dirty Job.
