my name is jon bell and i work at a lumber yard. it can be dirty. and really cold in the winter time. the hardest part is when we have shigles to deliver. we have to use the boom truck and it does not lift very much. and you have to split the bundles of shingles. it is fun to run the boom. i also put lumber away. it can be hard when the bunks get high and you can't see when the lumber goes on side ways. if you want more info just let me know
I want to suggest a dirty job. Landfill Gas Well Drilling. Popular mechanics for kids (Elisha Cuthbert) did a show in 1997 at Fresh Kills Landfill with us, and we did the National Geographic in August of 1988 with Bill Rathje. I was very impressed with the Fox News interview this morning. That is why I am contacting you. Google ckellett3 or charles kellett III

Hello my name is Phil and I work at a factory in Hagerstown Maryland and I make Salad bags, I know what your thinking salad bags can't be dirty and your right, but the clean up is well dirty at least there is no poo just glue. The process starts with the printing of the bag which means ink lots of it head to toe literally sometimes. Next step is lamination you don't know sticky till your elbow deep in glue and you don't know slippery till you step in a puddle of the anti-fog used on the bags. Plus the laminator is the most dangerous machine in the plant (most injuries). The final step before the bags are shipped out is slitting not real dirty but frustrating poking tiny holes in a thin sheet of plastic can tick off the most mellow of people. then once it is slit a grumpy guy from shipping straps and wraps the skids. oh and did I mention our production manager goes buy lamb-chop if that isn't good tv I don't know what is.

I think you should come fishing with me and my crew off the hawaiian coast. We do what is called dog fishing and dangling. We fish out of a 40ft boat 138 miles to 260 miles off shore. The weather can be fresh to frightening. We fish for Ahi (yellow fin and big eye Tuna). We fish old school no modern technology. We fish with all hand lines. Bamboo poles and with metal bars that hang over the side that are called danglers. On a good day we can catch over 9000lbs on this little boat. It is hard dirty work you will be gross at the end of the day I promise. It is an absolute blood bath, add over a ton of bait. Inking squid and extremely close living conditions. Hope you dont mind stay up around the clock and using a five gallon bucket as a restroom. Capt K.
Hi Mike, I' have been watching the show for quite sometime and have yet to see the absolute dirtiest job. I would suggest you take your crew and your camera's to New Jersey and spend some time with me a my crew to do some Drywall Finishing. Try using the Banjo, Boxes, Angle Tools, The Mud Pump with the Goose Neck Adapter and Of course the Bazooka. I promise you will be covered in Mud (joint compound) and love it!
We are getting ready to start a couple of Hi-Profile jobs here in New Jersey like the Student Housing @ Rowen University and The Revel Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City.
