Hi mike, I am giving you a job, that is not only hot, tuff and dirty I'm sure viewers would apreciate the underlying information. The coolest guy in the world and my Hero is my Dad Douglas. He Moved to Austin Texas recently from Maui Hawaii, leaving me behind to manage our plantation and rental properties. Why would he do this,leave paradise, surf, fishing, and all the great tropical activities. Well My sister Lives in Austin and has grandchildren, so Like a good grandpa my dad and mom went over to help her. So whats the dirty job you ask, well my Dad being the master contracter that he is started a new company over there in Austin. He does foundation repair. See over in texas when it gets really hot the moister in a slab home, a home sitting on a concrete foundation,
evaporates. Well Concrete and the ground around the home shrinks. What happenes next is the concrete slab starts to crack and sink. Yes sink mike. Now your home has big cracks in the wall and doors and windows that wont shut. Well Pops and his crew will dig under your house and jack up the sinking parts. Well that is just the start of it. Since I know you love those tight spaces you could be under a customers house digging by hand and cutting concrete to get to the damaged areas. Now after a drought even if it rains the damage to your foundation will still be there and can even cause the house to sink even further. So sometimes there will be a pool of water under some homes. As you can see this job can go on and on and on. Well after everything is done and all the windows and doors close properly your foundation will be level. Let me say this is not a clean job. So if you wanna get dirty and help save peoples homes I would love if you considered my dad and his brutal gig, your next dirty job. Much Aloha from Maui Nick Plauche.
P.S. I also have a dirty job grinding and replacing fiberglass refurbishing fishing boats here in Maui. Fiberglass is a dirty job. Just finished a boat and will be test riding it tomorow 11/7/09. A litle reward after a 3 month long dirty job
