My husband owns an asphalt company, I always thought it was a very dirty job! In the hot summer days with hot asphalt, it makes a 100 degree day feel like 300 degrees. As the soles of your shoes are melting to the hot black top your body will feel like it is melting as well. I won't even mention the plesent smell, but some workers grow to love it. This is keeping my message short and sweet, but there is much much more to an asphalt workers job then this. Now don't get me wrong here, I've seen Mike do dirtier jobs then this but like I said in the beginning I still think this is a very dirty job.
