I own the critter control franchise near South Bend, Indiana. I know there was a show with a man that killed roaches and tried to catch snakes. I have a similiar job but with more animals. We can film our crews catching raccoons, skunks, opposum, groundhog, moles, whatever we get called for. In spring we get a lot of calls about mother raccoons in chimneys looking for a place to give birth. It can be quite fun pulling a mother raccoon from a chimney! Most of the animals we catch are released into the wild unharmed.

Another part of our job that may be interesting to some is our annual goose round-ups. Each year from mid to late June we round up Canada geese and haul them to a local preserve. We are regulated by the state department of natural resources, the geese are not harmed in any way. It's not uncommon to round up 100+ geese per job. As you may imagine 100+ geese can make quite a mess. Again, it's not human waste or animals that can kill you (though some seem to try), but it's a interesting job and I haven't come home clean in months!
