I used to volunteer here and it gets very smelly and dirty. Imagine 60-80 sea lions, seals, and elephant seals, dirty pools of water, tube feeding, preparing fish, and doing it all in 80-90 degrees or more. I don't even want to think about the poo smeared walls, buckets of raw fish, and smelly smelly sea lions and friends. You may even get to go on a rescue and have to capture one from the beach, climb down a slope or two and carry 50-100# animal in a crate all before you get back to the center and the smell.
