I am a wildlife biologist and I have a colleague who is doing reproductive research with white-tailed deer near Hell, Michigan. The field work is pretty interesting just to tag along and if you want to get dirty, he usually has to find a few lost radio collars in the leech infested wetlands surrounding his study area. Keep up the great work. Mike

Question:
what is the key to pronouncing scientific names?

Choices:
say it with confidence, it's a dead language
when all else fails, stick with phonetics
