My ex-stepfather used to work at a company called "Armstrong Rubber Company." I think it's now Armstrong-Perelli, but I'm not sure. They make (made?) tires.

He used to come home absolutely covered in what he called "Armstrong Black." It got into everything. This job was so dirty that at one point he actually had to go in for surgery to have his sinus cavities cleaned out . . . They were full of "Armstrong Black." I don't actually know what this black stuff was, but I know it got into everything . . . The grooves of his fingerprints were always filled with it, it would get into his hair, everything. It looked like a slightly sticky fine black powder.

I think this would be a great show idea, because every one of your viewers depends on tires in some way . . .
