I work in a hospital laboratory...and it really can be quite dirty. We get stool samples that have to be smeared onto slides and looked at under a microscape. Then there's my favorite (gag reflex now) sputum samples, 24 hour urine samples, genital swabs, etc. most of which need special handling. Or handling in general. There's also tissue samples such as fingers, toes and placenta's. And the occasional Medical examiner stopping by for blood samples from dead people. Most things, besides the blood, stink horribly and our microbiology department has the honor of messing with these gross things and then watching them grow. It's interesting and very dirty and I thought it might be something that would definetly qualify as a "dirty job".
YES!!! THIS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE. ALSO COULD YOU FIND OUT WHERE EXACTLY DO ALL THE USED MEDICAL SUPPLIES THE PUT INTO THE RED TRASH BAGS THAT ARE COLLECTED FROM HOSPITALS, DR'S, ETC... I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THEY REALLY END UP AT.
