The people who clean the paint booth at my father's company are either crazy or really don't mind their job because it's dirty! His company paints plastic, exterior car parts for BMW and other automotive companies. There are three main steps to cleaning a paint booth (and many other steps, I'm sure). The first is manually stripping the walls of the paint itself and reapplying the sludge to protect the wall. Then they have to clean the paint robots and re-cover them with plastic. I think that they also use pantyhose for something, but I can't remember what. Then they have to clean out the waste water in the paint booth which is one of the most foul smells I have ever witnessed. (Even though I'm sure you have me beat.) The waste water is cleaned every few months, I believe. It's a dirty job!
