this is the lamest survivor show i have ever seen. he is constantly trying to go for Shock points but good grief. On one episode he was saying how he was in the middle of nowhere and trying to impress us how remote he was while in the background i can see a vehicle driving on a level road right behind him. COME ON... youve got to be kidding.

I think you may be mistaking this show for another.
Les rarely does anything for "Shock points". (actually I don't think he ever has).
I have seen every episode multiple times and do not recall ever seeing a vehicle in the background unless it was at the end of the show when he was being picked up by the production crew.
What was the location of the episode which you alledgedly saw this take place?
There is another show one Discovery on which "Shock Points" is the way the whole show is folmed (for entertainment purposes) and the locations are often not as remote as the show would lead you to believe.
Thats not the case with Les Stroud and Survivorman.

This guy is obviously mistaking Survivorman for Man vs. Wild.
As far as the "car in the background"- he's confused again. That was a youtube clip, exposing Man vs. Wild for filming in a supposedly remote Hawaiian location, that was actually near a highway.
