Sir, Many look to you as the "zen" outdoorsman. I enjoy your show but play a game with my friends when we find you make a mistake its worth points. Most are the things we all overlook but are the things that make a difference. Some examples, not necessarily from the show but in general, cutting towards yourself, grabbing rock out of the fire in fleece gloves, boiling your water in your hat without saying it a Filson, etc. The one HUGE mistake is one in the Georgia swamp. You started a fire with lint from a sock and stated " and thats why you always wear cotton socks"! Any outdoor professional knows the only place cotton, especially socks, has on a trip is if weight and space are not of consequence. The mantra of guides is "cotton kills". I spent 14 years guiding rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, flyfishing, and Elk hunting. I spent nine years as a certified ski patroller and was on two different mountain search and rescue teams. I left that all behind and joined the army, went to war, did five years and then moved from Fort Drum New York to Missoula Montana where I logged for a year. During my guiding years I guided from northern Arizona and New Mexico through Colorado and into Montana. I spent a few months in the Bristol Bay region, AK in early spring. I lived in Crested Butte, Telluride and Durango Co. I guided climbing in Southern Arizona and Neveda. If you need any specifics I would be happy to provide. I just think you need to qualify some information so people whom don't know better use your words as law. overall good job though, cheers

I think your right, pantyhose would be a much better idea. I've heard that's what they have to where in the army while in the desert heat.
