I am an outdoors person. I love to watch both Survivorman, and Man v.s. Wild. But while I was watching Survivorman I wondered who had a harder time filming. Les, or Bear? Well at first I said "Well of course Les Stroud has a harder time because he has to film it all him self, and he doesn't have a camera crew with him also." But I want to know what other people thought about.

Question:
Who has a harder time filming their show?

Choices:
Les Stroud/Survivorman
Bear Grylls/Man v.s. Wild
About the same
I don't know

I have little faith this request will be "returned", but who is the one person who voted BG/MvW?

Seriously?

And yet the MvW poll like this also seems to suggest Les is the better. Coincidence? Red Face

Well, I of course voted for Les Stroud.
But let's think about this, camera gear aside.

Poor Theodore may have a harder time of it, because he has to memorize all those lines, he has to keep the "story" straight and remember where they are going to set up for the next shot. He has to make sure he stops on the X to give his manly stare.......AND he has to make sure the ketchup stain from lunch isn't visable during the take.

He has to double check allll of his reservations at the hotels, make sure the ordered bear suits, smoke machines, extra tee-shirts, sterile mud, harnesses and safety gear are all delievered to the hotel on time. AND......he has to tip the bellhop, the waitress, the room service guy and the pimply 18 year old that brought him his porno film at 3am.

Whew...
I'm sure that's a lot harder than just carrying 50lbs of camera gear, setting them up and BEING REAL!

Smile
