Les says sorry to other people like vegetarians and stuff, and I think the reason Bear doesn't say sorry is rather he's self centered or they bring in all the food for him... Face it he's fake. And your a fan of Bear right but you can't even spell his name, it's 'Bear Grylls" not Bear Gryills LoL..

Bear is to lazy to even kill for His meal. It's left there by some farmer or was already killed by another wild animal. At least Les can get his own food and doesn't have it provided for Him by others.....

Ummm imran1 who said anything about farmers and stuff, and he doesn't show YOU how to survive he shows how HE survives with a camera crew safety gear. Did you know the stunts are all checked out and safe if you look into behind the scenes on youtube. Now how can you like someone who is fake... that just spoils everything.

Dear Mr. Les Stroud,
I'm glad that you don't do stupid things like Bear Grylls, because he eats gross stuff bugs, especially really mushy ones. And, eats stuff raw, too!
And, you don't do stupid stunts when you don't have to like take your shirt off and go into cold water and get naked on the screen.
From, KKM's son
P.S. You are smart. Bear Grylls isn't.
P.P.S. I cannot access the "Ask Survivorman" thread.

How do these match up with Discovery's Behind the Scenes and this Brad fellow's claim that he's a fake? It doesn't prove anything. Bear is listed as a "Presenter" in the credits and Lawrence Clark as the survival expert. If you want to disprove Bear's claims that he's not filming where he's supposed to be, you must clearly define via GPS or otherwise the geographical/topical location for his sites. Then, you should do the stunts he does.
One last thing, is Survivorman cancelled? All there seems to be are reruns on the Science Channel!

Do you know when he'll air? Will it be on the Science Channel or on Discovery? My son has been really upset that Survivorman hasn't been on. He loves that guy.

IIRC Les said that it takes a month to produce an episode. The opening montage usually has clips from 4 or 5 shows so it might be awhile before they're ready to go on air. If you need your Survivorman fix, I recommend buying the season 1 and season 2 DVDs from Les' website. It might be a little pricey since it's Canadian, but totally worth it.

Yep, I'll probably breakdown and buy the DVDs. I saw them at Blockbuster for USD 16.98 and MvW for USD 9.98.
I just hate having to watch reruns. But, the survival shows are different, because you catch information that you missed the first time around. I just got paid, so I know where my $$ is going.

Everyone has been saying les and bear are fakes but unless you have proff from them your self then you dont know. I mean the only diffrence is that bear has A camera crew and les doesn't when there surviving. I just wish that les and bear fans would get along!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about shipping to "Down Under", but I've seen season one DVDs on ebay. Also, you can go to Les's official site and order things.
