I guess Survivorman is over, and can't say I'll miss it. Les was a completely inept survivor. I remember one episode in the Alaskan wilderness where he spent the whole 5 days huddled under an overhanging rock face eating berries. He made no attempts at finding a clear stream for water, or making a fire, or catching a fish or even realizing that he was surrounded by plants to eat, like pine nuts, mountain cabbage and radishes.

It was if he was just content to sit around starving and freezing waiting for the crew to come pick him up, knowing all along he had an out and didn't have to worry about it.

He seemed completely unknowledgeable and inept at surviving anywhere. He offered no knowledge to the viewers and I found myself just feeling sorry for this idiot.

Bear Grylls's show is so much more the real deal and it makes me wonder why the Discovery Channel even created Survivorman when they already had a much better show going.

Go figure.

Not sure where ya saw that episode, but it didn't happen on Survivorman. He always checked out the areas He was in for food and water.
MvW and Survivorman both have good qualities just depends on your preference on what show you want to watch. Cool
