-does it pay good money?
-is it just volunteering?
-what classes do you have to take in highschool and collage?

i wish i can help but i have the same questions in mind. well what i know is that u dont really have to go to college but its best if u do. the clase's that u should take is in criminal justice and human behavior.

This question gets asked about once a week and the response is still the same.

Check with the animal control agency in your area. Volunteer at your local SPCA to find out what is required.

Requirements vary from city to city, county to county, state to state. Some require some higher education and some just want to be sure you can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I have been a volunteer for six years at my local spca and can tell you that the requirements are all over the place in the surrounding areas.

Please remember that the Animal Control Agents in New York are the only ones that are also police officers. This is not true for the other venues.

Do your resourch and find out what your local animal control laws are.
