I mean how do you make time for cleaning out stalls, grooming, riding lessons, vet care, shows, family, friends, school, homework???I mean to be able to do this and I bet more you are probley a very hard headed person.Once you put your mind to something you don't give up till you succed.Till you getdone what needs to be done.I hope one day I will be able to juggle all of these things and more. But for right now I think I will take a break for a little whil.Well peace out.
Well I board my horse, so I do not have to clean stall until night time. But I also have to juggle a job too. I just get up early, do schoolwork, go riding, then go to work, go back to the barn and do evening chores. I like it.
Well it was hard at first but this is how I do it... My horses go out at night so I don't have to do stalls untill night and their at my house. I go to work 3 days a week and go to school 4 days. luckly I planned them so I have the afternoons and weekends to myself so all I really have to juggle is my boyfriend and my horse. Oh yeah and my boyfriend also knows he comes second!!! Good luck. you'll find a way to do it all.
It sounds so easy the way you all do it.I mean I know I will be able to do it when the time comes.Just think about it makes me tired.Well got to go.Got to clean my room.Bye.
It was hard at first, but I got into a schedule. I have my horses in my back yard and go to school 5 days a week. They are normally out in the pastures, so I don't have to clean the stalls untill they come in. And I just take lessons at a stable 30min. away 3-5 times a week depending on school work. I think it's easy now. Well good luck!!
I know I will get the hang of it.I don't care what I have to do to get a horse.I want one so bad.......I think I may cry.lol.Just kidding. But I do want a horse really bad.Does anyone feel my pain????lol.Bye for now.
I board my horse out, so luckily I don't have to worry about mucking or feeding or anthing along those lines. However, I go to school Mon-Fri (still in HS), and don't get home till 4:30. Luckily its a short (15 min.) drive to the barn. Then I ride 1 or 2 (depending on the night), get home around 8:30 or 9pm, do homework, eat dinner, then go to bed. My social life suffers as a result, but my friends understand. My family also understands, and are very supportive and help out whenever its needed. You just need to be strict with your schedule, and it'll work out.
I know.I will just have to work extra hard around the house and do other stuff to confince my parents I deserve a horse.Sounds like alot of work.Well better get started now.Bye.
its really really hard for me, i have eight horses and their a handful. i really dont have a personal life, but i made it that way because all i want are the horses. i do homework in the morning before school, i get out of school early, and i never see my friends. my friends ARE my horses, and their the only ones i really care about.
I board my horse at a full care facility so stall cleaning, turn out, feeding, and worming are taken care of by the staff. I also have a half leasor so she rides 3 days a week. I ride two or three days depending on my work and school schedules. The last three semesters were hard to balance because I transfered schools (GMU-Wooohooo Final 4!!) and hade 19 and 17 credit semesters. Now I only have 12 credits(4 classes) and can ride alot more.
generally riding has pretty much taken over my life. i do my hw at the barn and most of my friends are right there with me (we all go to the same school). i take a school bus to my barn everyday so i get there at about 3:30 pm and then usually get picked up around 6:30 7 ish, but there i times that my parents 4got to come and ive been there till 9 pm before or on the weekends, me and my friends sometimes sleep there cuz its a private barn (no lesson ponies, just pony club borders). its actually really fun!
