I have a 9 month colt that was little pigeon toed when I got him but he got to where he wasnt in the best of health and used his legs to help support him now his back legs dont look the best but he walks fine do yall think he will be able to ride because his health is improving
We had a Paint Stallion who was pigeon toed and we could ride him. It didn't seem to affect him at all, we could take him for long, six hour rides (with breaks of course) and he'd be perfect the next day. I'm sure he'll be fine to ride but it would still be good to get a vet check it out just in case
Yes I own and Black and white registered gelding that is pigeon toed and he is perfectly fine to ride out on the trail at beach in the arena. There is nothing wrong with him at all. It would be like saying you should not talk to someone that is Pigeon toed.
My best friends horse has pigeon toed. He's never had a problem. We trail ride alot and he has recently been leased out for a lesson horse. I don't think it's a problem unless you want to breed them.
