hey.. I have been riding for about 6 yrs now and i was looking to see about buying a horse. What breed i should get is still a mystery to me. can anybody give me some suggestions. I ride western. Big Grin

i would recamend a quarter gorse they are great for western like my horse who is a paint but both his parents are qh and he is a qh very confusing i know was a western horse and he was good at it but i ride english so he switched to english but i k now most qh are good for western

I have been riding, training and showing horses for 20 years. You really should find someone who really knows horses to help you find the right breed for you depending on what you plan on doing. Quarter horses are great but if you want to do something like dressage you are going to want a Warmblood or other type of sport horse. Find someone in your area with knowledge and references (some horse people that can vouch for them). Good luck!

Quarter horses are always really good. My favorite Horsea is the american saddlebred. I know plenty of american saddlenreds that do western pleasure. That to me is really cool seeing american saddlebreds in action. But thats just me
