I have a 9year old Thoroughbred Gelding named "Heir Exuberant". I have been Ridding for 6years in the "Hunters" and "Dressage". I don't ride "Jumpers" because my horse is not mentaly ready. Other than that I love Horses and Showing!!!

Hello,
I ride. I love horses. I ride western also. I have a 5 year old appaloosa gelding. His name is Smokey Joe Blackfeet. I love to trail ride and I also do compotition riding. Like barrels and pool bending. Not very fast thought. My horse is still learning. I have had him for 2 years now. I have been riding for a long time. It is great to have a message board with other people who love horses. Smile

I ride a friend's Belgian gelding, Junior, and I'm training him to do jousting and other games that we do in my Medieval group (www.sca.org). It's quite a challenge re-training him to canter since he was a plow horse before this. I am taking it slow, and he is still fairly young at only 6 years old. I'm hoping to buy or lease him as soon as I can get some fences and a run-in shelter up on my property. I learned to ride in college and showed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and I did Horse Quiz Bowl as a kid in 4-H, but I've never owned a horse before. I'm hoping that if I can get Junior out to my property, I can start up taking lessons again at a stable down the road from me.

Hey yall. I have been riding since i was 9 so its been a long time that iv been on a horses back. I have 5 horses, one that i ride jumpers and hunter jumper on. Shes a Belgian Warmblood Mare. I love her soo much... the highest i have jumped is 4'6" but im not that old so i figure its pretty good. I was showing but i stoped for a while. Next season i think im gunna start again. Anyone do jumpers? how high?? i live for it!!! if i could choose it, i would jump all day and night!

Hey everyone, names Kaylee, I have been riding english for about 5 years now..and I love it!! I have two horses,Cornelius ans Peyton. Cornelius is a Arabian and Peyton is a saddlebred. I am currently teaching Neil how to jump..lots of spills I must say! lol! But he's getting better. were up to 5 feet. I don't know if I want to show him because he tends to get really stressed out, but I will only know in time.If anyone else has an Arabian..e-mail me @ hunterjumper14202000@yahoo.com -Kaylee-

hey ive been riding for about 4 years now and love it. I ride dressage mainly and the only jumping I have ever done is like 18" as the horse i lease is very skittish. He spooks from like everything. Anywyas he is an 18 year old(i know an oldy)Egyptian Arabian gelding and i absolutly love him to death. He may have an attitude sometimes but whatever nobody really likes him at my barn but they just dont ever see the other side of him when he really does somthing good lol. Cool My barn is a half hour away so i dont get to go very often only like 3 days a week but once i get my lisence(in a year) I will be going non-stop Smile

I have ridden horses off and on for years. I used to ride only western, but now I'm learning Endurance riding. The people that are teaching me are allowing me to use their horse, he's a 4 year old Arabian Gelding. He's really young to start actual racing, but as long as we keep him in the smaller races, he should do fine. His name is Traveller. I love him to pieces. He has really weird markings, having a spot of white on both sides of his belly. I hardly get to ride, because they are about 30 minutes away. And he has a HUGE attitude twards other horses, but we are working on that!

I ride mostly Hunter/Jumper... I've been riding for about 13 years and have shown at the Arab Nationals for Saddleseat and HUS. Two years ago though I was dragged by my horse through a fence which completely smashed up my knee so I had reconstructive surgery... So I haven't been competing for 2 years and I've only gone over 2'6" fences and I used to compete at 3'6" and 3'9". Oh well... it'll come back eventually!!!

Since I raise Paints I kinda have to do it all. Halter, W P, HUS, some barrels but the basis of it all is dressage. Used to jump but both knees suffered serious insult and am afraid that they will not take the jarring force created on take off and landing.
