My white horse seems to attract flies more than my other horses. I use fly wraps on his legs and spray him with equine fly spray but it doesn't seem to help much. Is it safe to use a bug repellent made for humans such as "Off?"

My horse that has a lot of white has a big problem with flies too. I put this stuff called Swat on her is comes in HOT pink and clear. You put it on the places where the files are really bad and I guess the flies don't like something in it because they don't come back for awhile.

Thanks ! I'll give it a try. Since he is a boy, I'll skip the hot pink. Don't want the other geldings laughing at him. I was using Espree but it attracts dirt and makes him look awful.
