What happened to the production??? Seems like amateurs with home camcorders are filming the show and there is very little production value. Even the sound quality is lacking.

Maybe it's your TV. I love it so far...

Oh well, the other seasons were good. This is going to be it for the show. Look how dead the board is. Ahh, I think it get it. The productions staff is now on LA Ink. I'll check IMDB to verify. It's a shame, the show was good at one time.

Dream on! This show is a million times better than Los Angeles Ink, especially now with Tim and Garver working side by side. You're just mad because Nunez called Kat a weirdo...

Actually, I didn't say anything about which show is better. I prefer older Miami Ink shows over either, but right now LA Ink is the better show. You may be infatuated with Ami or Nunez. I find Kat annoying, but Kim is cute as hell. Garver is probably the best artist out of any of the casts.

Regardless, Miami Ink is on it's way down. You can tell that the cast just isn't into it any longer. They checked out with their various side projects last season.

It was a good show when it was good, but this season is shaping up to be an embarrassment. I hope I'm wrong.

I think you are wrong. It's only the first episode. And no, I no longer have immense infatuation with Ami or Nunez (I love them, but they aren't why I watch).

I think it's great that the guys are getting a new shop, a new shop manager that actually works, a new artist (Tim F*&$ing Hendricks), and new blood on the way...Congrats to Darren!

I love this show. I respect your opinion, but I disagree. The guys are great and will always be great.

I THINK IT IS GOING TO BE A AWESOME SEASON WITH A LOT OF TWISTS AND TURNS. I SEE MANY SEASONS AHEAD. WITH TIM & DRE YOU CAN SEE THAT THEY WILL ALREADY BE GREAT FOR THE SHOP AND THEY BOTH HAVE A HUGE FOLLOWING.

It's obviously a new production crew, so maybe they just need to get into a new groove. I'll give it a couple shows.

But I'm still infatuated with Kim.

cybersnyder you are incorrect. It is the same crew. stop hating. The crew couldn't do both shows they stayed w/ miami and la ink got a new crew. I thought the show was great!

I just thought the production was subpar. Even Ami and Nunez's voices seemed like they were on helium compared to other shows. Colors were pale. Camera exposures were off. Compare what happens in the windows in this season compared to last. It looks like they're not lighting the interior now which blows out the windows. It just wasn't up to the same levels of quality as previous seasons. Closer to public access than network TV.

Maybe they're setting up lighting in the new shop and have limited setup at the old shop??
