I dont know about everyone else but I kinda like a new episode every now and and then its really starting to get under my skin that every tuesday there is a re run whats up with that.
me too, but ya know those months when the show isn't on and you'd give your right pinky toe to see a rerun, kinda makes it easier to swallow all of the reruns when they come on
Don't panic, people. We probably haven't seen the entire second season yet. Two important programming factors: The NCAA tournament is on right now, (same target audience, eh?), and we're in between sweeps months. Many other shows (Lost, anyone?) have been running reruns in the last couple weeks. It happens every March. And every October. It will pass.
Otherwise, I suggest you purchase a controlling interest in Discovery Networks, then you can dictate what they do.
Don't need a controlling interest in the company to decide what they do. Sure, it will greatly speed up your requests, but they will only make money if the consumers pay attention to them.
No consumers watching, no ads will be run, no money will be made, no show will happen.
So if enough consumers can voice their opinion as to likes and dislikes, the more it will affect the show.
Take the dreaded Inked show. First season was carp. All about the drama. They noticed that consumers were watching MI instead, and their second season featured more memorial tattoos and more of the tattoos being done. The show is still carp, but thats besides the point.
I think those episodes were a quicky filler season when they seen that Miami Ink was such a HIT. They are filming from April to September so new shows should be coming around soon. They better be...I'm sick of reruns....
Per the TLC TV schedule, there's still two episodes left:
Goodbye Freedom airs April 4
Now that she's eighteen, Nunez can give Vanessa a tattoo of her obsession. Darren gives his father his first tattoo, and Nunez helps Danyel keep her mother's memory alive. Garver helps Harold immortalized where he learned to skateboard: the WTC.
Made in Japan airs April 11
Ami helps Amber Dawn remember her beloved grandfather with a rosary tattoo, and Darren gives rocker Adam something that reminds him that he only lives once. Ami goes all out on a custom design for Shawn, and Garver gives Evan an old-school skull.
Thanks for assuaging my concerns re: the tedious "reruns"; now I understand as to why they must be; (though I'm not a college basketball fan and would appreciate "first-runs" since purportedly, the new season started?? Quickest way to lose viewership, is to dump reruns on us loyal fans way-too-early as OCC has done yet again. Call um "Classics" or "Best of", it's still the same stuff over and over and they've now lost me and judging by many in other forums, shoving reruns down our throats so early on can be a permanant TURN-OFF and provide impetus to turn our backs... My .02 cents... L
