Q: I want to be an artist, what do I do?
A: Contact a local shop and seek an apprenticeship. There is no other way to be a legit artist these days.
Q: I want a tattoo by x artist, here is my email, please contact me
A: They won’t contact you. They are too busy. If they were to contact everyone who wants a tattoo by them, they would be emailing 24/7
Q: I know about Garver and True Tattoo, but where does Darren work at?
A: Brass City Tattoo in Connecticut. Although not sure how long he will be there for, as he has hinted at moving to Miami permanently.
http://www.brasscitytattoo.com/Q: How much does a tattoo cost?
A: Artists almost never give a price quote on the phone (or the net). It all depends on the size and level of detail required. They typically charge per hour, and GOOD artists will typically charge from $90 - $200 per hour.
Q: My tattoo is healing weird. It has xyz problem, what do I do?
A: Call the artist who did the tattoo and ask them about it. Go in and see them if you need to. Every skin type is different and will react in a different way to ink and needles. While there are certain guidelines to healing, your artist should know what is right for you and your tattoo
