Don't go to Art Bomb... I don't know about Professional Tattoo, but if you go anywhere, go to HAMMERS... Trust me, they're the best.

Also, don't pay attention to the address at the very top of the page, scroll down some, and it tells you the new address in Canton and the phone number.

No, I'm not legal age yet, but my brother got all his work done there and so did my uncle. If you don't mind paying a little more, see Jimmy "hammer" Locker, but if not, Tyler Stewart is an amazing artist also (works at Hammers). I don't know anything about the two girls, Michelle and Lauren.

But just take a look at Jim's (Hammers) portfolio.

No, I live in Massillon. And if you take a parent, and you can prove it's your parent (birth certificates, etc.) they'll tattoo you if your 16 or over.

Both Hammer's and Professional are good shops, I've had work done at both. Hammer's WILL NOT tatto anyone under 18 under any circumstances. Hammer's is a little on the pricey side of the 2. Everyone at professional is amazing. It's where I now get all my piercings and ink done. Melissa owns it and if you have any detailed work that needs done she's the one to see... but you'll be in for a wai, cuz currently she's backed up well into August. Jimmy's a good guy and all of his artists are great, I just know a better deal when i see one

I'm not sure if Hammer Tattoo has improved its quality since I was tattooed there in 1997, but I certainly hope so. I had two tattoos at Hammer, and both are horrible. One was done by Chris (no longer there,) and the other was done by Jim, the owner. Both needed touched up immediately after healing; the color was absolutely gone in some places on both tattoos. The tattoo Jim did was a very, very simple design. It is crooked, there are multiple areas of inconsistency in size and it's full of scar tissue. When I went in for a touch up, he actually asked if I was his last tattoo of the night, as if that made it OK for him to have given someone such a bad tattoo (and no, I was his first tattoo that day.) I would NOT recommend Hammer Tattoo to anyone and would have both of those tattoos covered up if it weren't for all of the scar tissue (I'm afraid any further tattooing will be negatively affected by the scar tissue.)

On the flipside, I've been tattooed at both Professional and Art Bomb. I had 3 tattoos performed at Professional (by Kurt,) all in 1998, and they are still very nice, bright and look great. None are extremely complex, but all are custom work and look very nice, 10 years later, with zero touch ups. I had 8 tattoos done at Art Bomb, all in 2007, and they are by far the best I have. The quality is excellent, the shop is clean and I've never had a problem with anyone at Art Bomb. Some of the tattoos from Art Bomb are simple, but most are very detailed and include 2 black and grey portraits. All are custom.

In total I have 14 tattoos, and the 2 from Hammer are the worst. All of my tattoos were cared for in the same manner, so I know the "quality" of the tattoos from Hammer wasn't affected by anything I did during the healing process.

I'm more than happy to provide photos of any and all of my tattoos for comparison purposes.

I went to professionals for 2 of mine...the guy who did them doesnt work there anymore but I love Matt Rohrs work and Melissa is really good too....she owns it. They are both really cool and amazing artists. I got another tattoo done at Big Time I would deff. stay away from that place they did a horrible job. My rib piece that I am working on now is being done at Art Bomb. I love it there. A lady named Jackie is doing it....shes really good. Actually shes amazing! I would go to anyone at Art Bomb though. Chris Bragg at Freedom Tattoo in North Canton is good. He did my first 2 tattoos. The only person I would go to at Hammers is the girl that works there. But I have had really good experiences at Professionals and at Art Bomb (its now couture tattoos but listed in the phone book as art bomb. Hopefully this information helped you out
