Well I am going to give the women around me something more to talk about! I have decided that this Saturday I am going to get a tattoo put on my left breast. I am getting a cresent moon smiling with sunglasses and some stars above it. It looks similiar to "Mac Tonight Moon" used in the old MacDonald's commercials. I am getting it directly across from my smiling sun one on the other breast. This way you will see the smiling sun on one side and directly across from it will be the smiling moon with sunglasses! I think it will look awesome! Also getting a foot tattoo to match my ankle band.

Hardworking- Super fab! Wonder if you'll get twice the attention now? lol! Also wonder, are we a good, or bad influence? Money well spent, indeed - it'll last a lifetime! Meanwhile, think "happy ink" thoughts for me, just had my tat re-done for the third (ya, THIRD) time! Not that the "you can't hold your ink" jokes aren't hys-terical, but...(I had been taking a lot of Excedrin daily - I mean a LOT - quit cold turkey ((can you say UBER headaches?!)) 12 days ago). On the plus side, it's all free as I know the shop owner - on the negative...did I mention THREE TIMES?! And it looks so darn good! We're trying to be optimistic - but I figure more happy thoughts can only help! I'll think "smilin' moon" thoughts for you, Hardworking

You are too funny! Sorry about your headaches. Don't all tattoos look darn good! What did you get and where? But three times on one tattoo! I would hate it if my body didn't hold it well. But mine does, just like a sponge! And I am glad as I so love being and getting more beautiful colorful ink applied to my body!
Yes, it is money well spent, and isn't it funny that as soon as we get a new tattoo or some extra money we start looking for the next!
As far as a bad or good influence, I think GREAT INFLUENCE. The show has shown all just how "mainstream" tattoos have become, and made them not the stigma as they used to be for just old men!
More Attention? I know I will definitely from the guys! They can't keep their eyes off my so to be well tattooed 44Gs and I LOVE IT! Plus I am a tanning bed addict so I have to get all my tattoos done in bright colors so it stands out against my dark skin so all my tattoos really show! Plus, you know that I definitely dress so they all can be seen very plainly!! Big Grin I guess when I get my pubic one, that one will only be shown at special times for special people! Wink I know the women who talk will talk even more now, but that is their problem.
Thanks for the wish of happy ink thoughts!

Some people talk bad about others out of pure jealousy. They're 2 scared 2 be different or do something that'll make them happy if others wouldn't approve. They like 2 follow the crowds instead of being individual. How long do you leave it until you use a sunbed again after getting inked? I heard 2 weeks was ok?

Yes, i use tanning beds, although i've started using the the l'oreal all over body mosturizer that has a bronzing effect. It's really good and better for me obviously but i'll probably still use the beds when i need a little boost!

No BOTTLE TAN FOR ME! I want the real thing! I tried the bottle kind and really hated it, plus I like being absolutely dark and the bottle would not give it to me. I like the dark look cause my tattoos and body jewels really "pop" against it. Plus don't need to put on any make-up!

Hardworking- Oh! Another tanning bed addict! I thinks beds are more of a guilty pleasure than tats anymore! They are ever so bad for you - but golly don't it feel good? Mind - I utterly forgot to tan the day before I had my tat re-done & now that I read the 2 week rule, Chicgo (my artist) agrees! Rats! I blame you hahaha! Wink So far my tat looks good - but "Day 1" is not the test - if it hasn't started scabbing by Sunday - I'll breathe easy. Meanwhile - hope you get some sleep tonight - I know you must be super excited about tomorrow! Just do NOT sneeze while under the needle & take a friend with less of a sarcastic sense of humor than I did! She sat with her nose inches from the needle during my tat & kept saying "Man, you're bleeding a lot" (She's married to Chicago - I did finally ask them who they picked on before they met me Big Grin)

Before I tell you about my new tattoos, let me just say that I am a ttotal tanning bed addict! When I am not in it I am laying out in the sun getting as dark as possible! My friend owns the tanning bed place and she lets me go as much as I want, forget the 20 min rule. On a scale of 1-10 for darkness, I an easily a 9 without question! I love my tan!!
Now, well I am now "freshly" inked with my two new tattoos! And after I had them done, I went through the catalogs to start looking for the best heart and tribal I can find to get my pubie tattoo next month!
First my breast. I got the smiling moon done in a whitish gray so it really pops against my tan. It is a creasent shape and has a big smile, and is wearing dark sunglasses. In the glass part of the glasses he even put "glints" of sunlight reflection, so it really looks like my bright yellow/orange sun on the other breast is shining on him! He also put alot of detail in the moon with craters and shadings. It looks AWESOME, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!
On my foot, I got a bright green almost lime green gecko! He is done so it looks like his head is looking up, and around it he worked a tribal that matches my ankle band. I am so happy with them both! And he charged me $100 for both. I can't wait for them to heal and be ready!

hardworking- Wow! Sounds like it all worked out perfect! Slow down or you'll have a body suit soon hee hee! I'm regretting not tanning before my tat - b/c I still go out - so now I have the dreaded "shorts tan line" we all hate. Oh well! On the plus side my tat appears to be healing right this time - whew! I think we all would've opened a veing if it needed a 4th go 'round! $100 wow! Great price! Though I'm spoiled & mine was free - perks of knowing the shop owner Big Grin...but hey, I wear the t-shirt & advertise for him free...

Tan lines? UGH! That is why I tan always in the nude, even outside unless I just have to wear a bikini.

Glad your tattoo is finally healing good. Mine are doing great! Wish I could get mine for free! But mine has good prices so I don't mind. If mine were free, I might have that body suit by now!
You doing good otherwise?

I agree cheral, I see both of us covered head to toe in beautiful ink! Come to think of it, not a bad idea at all!

hardworking- LOL! But the lines are from being out in the sun & not getting to a bed to get rid of them Wink - nude hiking in 99 deg. weather might not be the best idea ever! I'm still healing - but it still looks good - though I won't completely exhale until I know for sure! Ah, yes, it probably is a good thing you pay! Though you could just get a tan body suit! But hardworking and cheral don't be too jealous - this tat is small - I'm sure I wouldn't get a back piece free! Big Grin
