The way she was presented on the show the wife did not seem to be a very easy person to get along with, and he seened to do his best to make her happy. She was living in a diffrent state when the show started.

I guess he got fed up and divorced her, so fast foward to this season he has a new much nicer looking girlfriend and a son on the way. He seems to be very happy. They are moving into a very nice house.

Do you think his wife watches the show?

If she does watch she must be upset that she isn't living in that nice house. I doubt if the ex-wife places any blame on herself, but the impression I got from watching her was she was not an easy person to get along with. But people like that usually blame everyone but them self

I'm gonna be honest--I kinda thought Carolina was a ditz. Not the brightest crayon in the box. I doubt she watches the show.

It's something that we the viewers don't know anything about. From the way the show portrayed Darren getting mad on the phone, it seems like the divorce may have been mostly Carolina's fault, but then again, we don't know the whole story.

I'm not sure, but remember the guy that got the Thai buddha tattoo regarding his divorce? When he was talking to Ami, Ami mentioned how a 'close friend' of his got married and found out she wasn't who he thought she was; I think he was talking about Darren. She could just be a total flake.

Either way, Darren seems happier with Thalia and little Cash. I guess it's a good thing he got her pregnant instead.

I would be surprised if his ex-wife did not watch the show to satisfy her curiosity, just to see what he is up to. When someone is no longer their husband / boyfriend there usually are feelings toward the other person. If he went on to find happiness with someone else there has to be a bit of jealousy, and even if she doesnt watch the show I have a feeling her friends have told her about the beautiful new house.

I did find the living arrangements strange, if I remember correctly Carolina was living some place up north, NY or CT.

I just thought this as I typed. It could be possible that Darren only lived in Miami while the show was tape and lived with her up north. I guess we will never know what is real and what is just part of the show script. I do believe the whole house buying story is true or at least 99% of it

Darren and his wife Carolina are just trying for a baby here in the UK !!! She is living localy. How far behind are we in the UK.

He got fed up with her BS (that is my guess because on the show Carolina did not come across as a very nice person, on the show he seemed to treat her very well but she didn't seem to appreciate it) and they split up. He met a new girl, that was a fan of the show, she seems much nicer than his ex-wife. You can't believe everything you see on TV but to me it seems as if he treats the new G/F great and she seems to also seems to treat him well. In an episode a few weeks ago she was pregnant and was going to have a baby soon. They bought a very nice house to live in for them self and the new baby. The promo for next week shows her having his son while he was near by. It looks like they did the birth in water thing
