Kat Von D is an anti-Semite. I do not understand why she is allowed on TLC. LA Ink is not a show for neo-Nazis. I am extremely disappointed in TLC for giving her this opportunity, when there are many people who are more talented and are not anti-Semitic.

I agree, this really makes me quite sick. I do like the other girls, Kim, Hanna, and Pixie but this really needs to be addressed. Kat Von D needs to make a very public apology to Ami in a way this doesn't surprise me, she has admitted to being a huge drinker thinking it is "cute" and TLC you need to step up and take charge here, according to a court document the handwriting is HERS. Just like I always thought her true colors are showing, she isn't that talented. Again an apology is in order here, and Ami you are so loved...if I was younger I would be chasing you Smile

I'm a little confused. Did they prove it was her? I never really liked her, but this is very repulsive. What little respect for her I had is now entirely gone. Come to think of it she is half German. Wow, that just reinforced my admiration for AMI!

I read about this earlier on another site, and I am in shock. No matter who is responsible for this atrocity, it is simply an abhorrent act by a very cruel and bigoted individual. I feel for Ami, and I hope that he knows that there are many of us out here who support and respect him.
I am no Kat fan, but for her sake, I hope this turns out NOT to be her doing...she has made many terrible decisions and mistakes since her leaving M I ...I sincerely pray that this isn't one of them.

So far all of the comments in this forum seem to be against Kat. I'm not here to judge nor to say who was right or wrong, but do you guys personally know all of the facts? Your simply stating your opinion of the situation based upon what was written on a website... Don't you think that before you can have a valid opinion of who was right or wrong in the situation that you needed to be apart of the "8 month long" investigation? I was unaware that all of the fans in these forums would hold such a bias them selves with out knowing all of the actual facts. You are all entitled to your own opinions and views, BUT do you think that your opinions might be swayed to one side or the other if you knew more the facts? And once you knew these facts you would then be entitled to state a bias opinion? Just a thought to ponder on.

In my opinion, if you read what she has written on her myspace blog it does to me confirm she did it. Again in my opinion you will notice she mentions "prisoners", why do you need to categorize people ? If you were trying to convince people you were not racist or prejudice wouldn't you just say "people from everywhere" ? She has said alot of very negative things about Miami Ink, I did watch her new show and happened to tune in on the "Pixie" incident. I rolled my eyes about this one because really if you are a boss you do not let stuff "stew" you get it out in the open asap and get it over with. Whats even more disturbing is TLC sticking their head in the sand. They were so quick to drop Dog but seem to not even flinch about KVD very racist attitude. I won't be watching another episode because really she whined alot and honestly if I want to hear whining I can find that all over the place. AGAIN TLC step up and take action we the watchers made your station popular and we will speak volumes by not watching and if you happen to be reading this, BRING BACK DOG at least he didn't lie about it like KVD is doing, honesty is the best policy and KVD is lying her a$$ off about it and so are you.

She totally did it and is crisis prevention mode with her publicist and her making appearances and talking to papparazzi. In my opinion TLC should be ashamed of themselves. Even if she didn't do it, which I don't think is the case, there should be some sort of reprimand happening here. It has been confirmed with 99% accuracy that it is her handwriting (TMZ.com). I think this is a ploy for her to gain a little bit more attention since well Miami Ink is better and she has a sour taste in her mouth that she got fired. She needs to grow up and take responsibility for her actions!

What I think is sad is that (According to TMZ.com) Kat delivered the picture personally to Garver. I'm sorry, she's not funny or cute by striking out this way. I'm sure when she thought of it, she was not in her right mind, and may not remember doing, irregardless sensitivity training by TLC is in order. She is going to continue to spiral out of control. She is lacking in personality and makes up for it by bringing in huge celebrities to tat. She is a very talented disturbed artist. I think it was and is completely out of line for her comments and actions to go unnoticed or unpunished by this station! Personally, I'm not watching her anymore, her behavior is just going to get worse.

And just WHO do you mean by "huge celebrities"? Steve-O??? Roll Eyes
I think that the one thing that sealed it for me as far as Kat's guilt in this matter is this: if it WASN'T her, why would TLC be trying to sweep it under the rug? They went into immediate damage control on this, and so did she and her publicists. Why do that if it WASN'T HER?????

Two things: #1: Why hasn't Chris Garver posted on this subject if alledgedly Kat handed him the photo? Wouldn't this "public" statment from him clear things up quickly?
#2: If TLC is reprehensible for allowing Kat Von D her own show (Ami's opinion because apparently he discussed this matter with lawyers)), then why is he a party to this whole episode? If Ami believe's the network is ignoring her remarks and still promoting her isn't he in agreement with TLC instead of standing on principle and telling the producers he's ending their agreement? I know somebody's going to tell me the 'ole bite-ur-nose-off-to-spite-ur-face deal, but if Ami continues with TLC then he can have his say and continue pocketing the dough.

KW is this your "original post" that you claim has been removed?

Is TMZ a reliable source for information?

If TMZ is mentioning Garver by name and it is not true then Garver needs to speak out against TMZ (after all aren't he and Kat friends?).

If this happened so many months ago why are we just hearing about it? Is TLC that powerful that they can stop people from finding out?

When did this really come to light anyway? I only heard about it this week.

These are very good questions that I think could support either side of the story.

A. I don't believe TMZ is that reliable. It's a gossip report, gossip may be true, may not be.

B. I'm not sure why his name would even be mentioned if he wasn't involved. According to TMZ he was the one that told TMZ she had handed it to Ami.

C. This all could be a fluke, but I can see why the TLC execs would try to hide it. I, too just found out about it this week. Although, maybe it has taken this long for Ami and his lawyer to get through to TLC. That could've been how it was leaked to the media, through months of battling with the company and investigation of the crime.

Or, this is just a big joke to someone. I wish mr_deville would fill us in...

TLC should have thorough and TRANSPARENT investigation into this matter. Looks like they are trying to sweep it under the rug. The dog thing was made public and mainstream news organizations picked up on it. That meant they had to act.

As far as Ami "continuing to pocket the dough", he is under contract for another season...and breaking contracts is a messy deal, especially with TLC's current stance on the matter.
As far as Garver or DeVille coming in to comment, since lawyers are now involved in this issue, they have all most likely been advised NOT to make any public statements. It would not be wise in any case, IMO.
I hope this issue doesn't affect M I, or it's artists any more than it already has.
Unfortunately, TLC is only interested in the bottom line. That is the way of business, always will be.

Thanks for that Daisy..I have always liked Ami, you can always see through the bad boy persona and notice a warm heart. I will tell you a secret...Ami was my next fav to Garver who is always my first!!!

To be honest, I haven't watch LA since this whole thing came out and it is a shame because the other artists are fantastic...Corey could tattoo me any day! You mark my words, something is gonna happen to the crew at LA. Good things come to those who wait...just be patient Ami!

If the claim is that she gave the envelope to Garver then Garver could clear this whole thing up with a statement to the contrary.

BUT, Garver has not denied receiving the picture and delivering it to Ami (If he delivered it it must have been sealed in the envelope because I doubt Garver would knowingly deliver something so hurtful to Ami.)

Since he has not denied it and put an end to this .....

Draw your own conclusions.

I gave up on LA ink waaay back at Corey's vasectemy episode. TMI! I haven't tunes in to the new MI season because it looks like it is getting too much into the guys personal lives and away from the original premise of daily goings on IN A TATOO SHOP.

Maybe I will tune in to the next episode.

Ratdog -
Please Do watch this season. The focus really isn't on their personal lives at the expense of the tattoos- the quality of the artwork has been better in the new epi's than it was at the end of last season, where I thought it had slipped somewhat.
While the side stories are a peek into their lives offscreen, it really isn't giving an invasive or TMI sort of vibe.
They seem more relaxed and positive onscreen this season, and I think that it may be due to the fact they are happier in their personal lives, so it translates to the mood showing on air.
The clients' stories have been inspirational and thought provoking so far - and I've read of some coming up that will continue in that vein.
It definitly is coming off as a better season all around so far...watch and enjoy! -RJ

To set the record straight, the signature analysis came back 99% positive that Kat VonD wrote this message. I know because I actually saw the paperwork, but hey, when you dumped 50 million dollars into advertising an anit-semite like DCI(discovery channel incorporated) did, it's pretty hard for them just throw it all away. Money overcomes morals, integrity, and dignity in this business. It's a damn shame. I'm even willing to bet my message gets taken down pretty fast.... watch for it ladies and gentleman.
...but lies and liars eventually get found out for what they are...

why does this shock anyone? this is what i would expect from kat and certainly the networks..her actions on the show speak for themselves and have shown what she is made of...as far as tlc is concerned it's about money.....besides it's too vague an issue to prove. she got lucky it was a picture and signature where she can still deny it and not a taped conversation where the proof what be stronger...
