You must have met Chris Garver at the Chicago show yesterday. I so wanted to go but as usual, life got in the way. Not to mention the 6+ hour drive in the snow to get there.

Yep, is was in Chicago. Life does get in the way of the fun stuff sometimes but if you ever have the chance to meet Garver go for it. You will not be disappointed.

I'm hoping at some point he'll appear somewhere closer to where I live. But the World of Wheels car show (I assume that's where you met him) is not scheduled to come to my second rate, depressed town.
And believe me, there is no way I would be disappointed if I met him. To borrow a word from Ami's vocabulary, I'd be "ecstaticated."

Trying not to rub the news in too deep Smarti but slightly doing the happy dance cause he's closer to me now...still hours away but not a continent away...(whispers softly***woohoo***)...Oh and Garver does look hawt sportin' the beard...heard it was gone now but I'm sure he'll grow it back to make us lady fans happy...Right Garver.

therealt.. Unfortunately, CPA + tax season = too many 70+ hour work weeks....but thank god that's over for another year... but through it all, I never lost my admiration for Chris Garver!

Blondie, I haven't seen the new season (what is this thing called job that keeps me away from this thing called television?) but I think I'd be a little jaded as well. I imagine it's pretty exhausting being a celebrity especially if you didn't want to be one in the beginning.
Though I've no idea the validity of that last sentence.
Regardless, Chris is still one of my favorites (as shallow as that statement seems). Though, admittedly, because I watch them so sporatically I could have sworn there were two Chris Garvers (or two people who resembled each other) because one episode I'd see he'd have facial hair and the next he didn't. I kept waiting to see them both together.
Though, two Chris Garvers doesn't sound like such a bad idea, come to think of it...

Well, if anyone knows, I figure it would be the CGEB! I thought I read somewhere that Garver had a myspace site? Does anyone know the exact site?
Also I was wondering if anyone has had a tattoo by ANY of the Miami Ink artists and approximately how much money I would need to save to get one? Are we talking thousands? I'm on disability at 41 yrs! Kind of a fixed income. I hope he comes to Charlotte. NC or near there. I would not have to buy a plain ticket (so much money).
