Hey pechy...in the threads "Contact Miami Ink" and "Why I love Miami Ink" is the contact info.
Hey Jorgie thanks for keeping in touch..My boyfriend is a really great sketch artist and has said he'd sketch my concept on by body w/ colored pens. If we took a picture of that, would that work???
Ruby(not rub)red ps...have any basic pricing info???
jorgie...are you the voice on the answering machine? I called the number listed on the website, but heard a woman's voice, then I thought that I had the wrong tat shop.
Hey, can you tell me if any of the guys are going to be up north for any tat conventions?
Anyhoo, thank you for taking the time to help out the fans of Miami Ink. I hope that this works out well for all of the artists and folks associated with the shop!
Question regarding payment: does the shop only accept cash for payment or do they accept credit cards? I understand, of course, about the cashier's check/MO deposit. I feel tacky asking but I'm sure others have been wondering.
i ment no harm to that... he is a great guy and i love him to death.. as a big brother... but i'm sure you have watched the show. and might be able to relate to where that boss that comes in and regulates... thats ami.... he has his heart in a good place, and he is doing a great job at it...
Actually I really like Ami's personality...he's alot like my soon to be stepson. I'm one of the few that can get through to him. He has that high energy and did the extreme fighting. I love him he's sweetheart.
Jorgie, Thanks for the info. How far in advance would I have to make an appointment? I'm taking my sister on vacation to Miami and would like to stop by and have the rest of my tattoo done. Thanks, Shell
answer... oh god would i love to have one.....an assistant... but only a very few can handle ami.
I hear you on that. Not that I'm critiquing Ami or anything. I work w/ folks w/ VERY distinct personalities but in the long run, it all works out in the end.
Thanks for your help, jorgie! With any luck I'll be able to head down after the New Year to check out the shop AND get a tattoo! It would be honor to meet all of you wonderful folks!
Jorgie, what about custom work? You really can't send a picture of what you want then... i'm not really into flash , but personalized work. Thanks! I think that Ami seems like a great guy,tough , but determined to make someone out of u.

Hi Jorgie.... I have a question about a one of a kind piece as well. I'm planning a back piece that incorporates a few different features in to it, kinda like what that one guy did with that crest for his friend. How would I send all of that in? Or even begin to send in this long letter to describe how I wanted things situated?
Jorgie, I dont need an appointment-- I live too far away to have one of the guys do my tattoo. But I do want to know how I can get a copy of a tat that was done on the show.....? I love the shoulder tattoo the daughter got in the Never Forget episode and I want to get the same one. Please help!!!!!
javaqueen, that shoulder thing was freehanded on the spot by Nunez. I don't think it will be possible to get a copy of it unless you screencap the show. If you like the idea, you can just draw up something that you might like. It looked like it was just a vine. The girl on that show brought in a picture and he did a couple of sketches based off of her picture.
Thanks for the explanation, Mita! I'm going to have to try the screencap idea so I can have someone do a "recreation". If not, this just means that I may have to get down to Miami and let the pros do their job.
Hi no offense but I personally don't think you should try to reproduce a tattoo that was custom made for someone. I think you should have your own designed for yourself. When someone has someone freehanded or custom designed for themselves, they certainly wouldn't want to end up seeing everyone else with that same tattoo. It's very personal to them.

In the show the guys mention the shop is on South Beach but everytime I try to look it up, I get a Hialeah Gardens address. I don't know if it's right. What's the address and phone number?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I agree with you on when someone has a "custom made" tattoo one wouldn't like "everyone else" to have it. I found a picture of a Phoenix (not the usually bird w/ colors-feathers etc.) but when I went to my tattooist he said it looked to masculine & he wanted it more feminine & to come back & he would have something for me to look at. I came back & he drew up the most AWESOME phoenix I ever saw (none of which I looked at/found on the computer, nor the original one I picked out-he did a BEAUTIFUL job altering it) so I got it (on my lower back all the way down to my tail bone) he had to shorten the tail though. And he did it in black-gray-shaded. I am going back in a week to put the flames above it. And so like you said, it is very personal & means something very special to me....Unless one were to "get permission or an ok" to copy it. I wouldn't do it either.
HI im Mike and i live in Jax FL. My mom just died and drew up an memorial for her and made a sticker for my car, now i want to have one made into a tat. I feel like some do that it was made for me and if someone took it and set it up for them then id be up-set. I do plan to get an appt soon to have garver make it. Just one Q? how much is it? im mean is it per hr or size? i have 2 tats from Inksmith $ Rogers but it was by size. Thank Guys. Hang loose!
Hi my name is kristen and i was just wondering how long of a wait would it be for regular people to come in and get a tattoo meaning if ur not on the show.
Jorjie...Nunez left the impression (post) that he would not be back into the shop until Feb. Is this a correct assumption? What days are better than others to expect to find the Guys (Ami etc.) at the shop most of the time? This is for Walk Ins inquiries...
I was wondering if i could send a picture in and have THEM design the art because i want kat,ami,garver,nunez,and darren to design a half sleve for me. I want to get a piece from all of them because they each have an artistic catigory that they are really good at and i think with all of them put together it would make for the most killer tattoo. PLEASE see what you can do and ill definatly bring a krew with me this summer to get a piece of art at the shop.
Really? Well, I am very new to the site, and I didn't know. I am hesitant to give money to someone without proof. I'm not arguing with you, but I was wondering how you know jorgie works there?
