I'm really upset about Miami Ink being taken off the air for LA INK. Kat makes a mess of her spot at MIAMI INK and now she gets rewarded by taking Miami Inks time slot. That's awful, now i have nothing to watch on Tuesday nights, and i refuse to watch LA INK. As much as i loved Kat's art work. I'm very upset, when is Miami Ink coming back??? I miss Ami

I have a theory....I think it was all planned. If you check out the link to get on the show..(LA or Miami) they are clearly the same. I think that Ami has been a shrewd business man, and started himself a franchise. We got Miami, now LA, "Ink". Same format, same website for getting on the show....great plan! The ink is bi-coastal!! It takes some of the focus off of the guys at Miami and gives them their off season, then LA Ink comes in, and continues the "Ink"ing franchise. Either way, I enjoy both shows! They are all unique artists, and all very talented. Kudos TLC! Great Get!

they really need to bring back Miami ink...i miss it...i think kats show is boring and is a stupid copy of the greatest tattoo show ever. hopefully if everyone is rite it will come bak this fall

I am a big Miami Ink fan and have been since the show was aired...but what I don't understand is why everyone is bashing LA Ink?

I admit, I am not a real fan but it will do until MI is back on the air. The crew is very artistic and offer beautiful work for those who want to pay for it.

Do you really think Kat went out and bought her own shop and got the crew she has without the help of TLC? Give me a break...wake up people and stop bashing what TLC has obviously paid alot of money to put on the air.

Hey...give me some cash and a location to shoot a show...atleast Kat is not dumb and knows a good thing when she sees it!!!!!!

cbaire, I agree. I don't know why everyone is bashing it either. Yeah, I miss Miami Ink too but I'll watch LA Ink. I do think the Miami Ink shop has a charm about it that is lacking on LA Ink. LA is ultra modern and I don't care for all that pink.
Oh well, just my opinion.

Hey Mortimer...I agree the pink has to go!

My son made a comment when we watched last week about why the shop doesn't look like the commercial...I do prefer the commercial shop to the actual, it may be the same one but the lighting is different.

MI will be back soon and then we will all have the fill of tattoos.

Probably November at the earliest. I read somewhere that LA Ink will have new episodes until October 30th.

Bimmerella, I like your theory. I really had not thought about it, but I see your point. Either way, I think both inks have incredible artists and I will continue to watch.

I have no tattoos, but have wanted two for a very long time. I am thining I wouldn't mind driving down to miami and having them do it. I hope they are still there, thier work is awesome, please let me know if they are.

Wow. What a difference between to two shows. I don't see the seriousness of LA Ink that I thought there would be. When Kat was on the last few episodes of Miami Ink, it was obvious that she was unhappy and homesick for LA. I wonder if it was an unconcious self sabotage so that she would have a reason to go home. What I thought I would see once she started running her own shop was that maybe she would realize just how hard it is to run a business. Showing up to work on time and not speaking bad things about Miami Ink when working. That is a big no, no in business! I don't think she gets it yet though.

In any case, I prefer the style of the artists on Miami Ink as well as their dedication. I'm looking forward to their return in Fall.
