I'm really sorry for going off, but I feel embarrassed for Corey for once again dropping out of another competition. How is it that you can claim to be vegan- break a guinea pig's neck, but you can't let go of your ego to get whipped. What's the point of signing up for a show if you are going to drop out of everything? As an American, I feel embarrassed and disappointed that he was chosen to represent the USA as an athlete.
Not sure I'd make it personal because he isn't adequately representing America, but yeah, Corey has been a huge disappointment. He just has no competitive spirit although he talks a good game. He just seems to wimp out way too much.
Atleast he got a haircut, the long curly hair annoyed me. I do agree corey gives up halfway into the event, thought I dont know why he didnt participate in the last event. He killed an animal but is afraid to get whipped? Brads choice I can understand but coreys? Im hoping rajko doesnt win anymore lol.
I appreciate Corey's philosophy that athletic prowess is just a means to achieve the kinds of exploring and activities he wants to do. It's not a philosophy made for winning reality TV shows or being entertainingly competative. Oh well.
He's very sportsmanlike, from what we've seen on the show a great individual and team player. He's given it his all but doesn't hold competition above all else like many of the others, which means he didn't get to shine on his specialty, the endurance races. He's still out there doing it, competing with those fierce athletes. Despite any bad reviews that's respectable and admirable.
Heh. I guess I just admire those guys going out there and doing all those sports I would never be able to do. It's too bad people feel like they've got to make fun of them.
cory is a big "puss"!!!! i know they could have gotten someone, anyone better than him! i dont know who picked him but they should be slapped.... he is a waste.
I don't understand how you think Corey is a "puss" when he has done more in that one year than most of us will do in ten? A strong man physically, mentally, or morally should be admired not deconstructed on a forum. But thats just my thought...
You should feel ashamed for 'attacking' such a nice, good spirited person. Here's a bit of advice - try to applaud good efforts vs. pointing out downfalls - you'd think a mom would know that. .....I feel embarrassed and disappointed that you were chosen to represent American viewer opinions.
look if this was a nice guy competion... fine!!! corey is a super sweet guy. but if you watched the show at All!!!! you would see he was the most intimidated and the first to quit!!! he didnt even comptete in the zulu stick fighting because the ref saw how scared he was!!! thats a fact!! he quit because he had shin splints in mexico....please! look at the other real atheletes they never quit!!! that is a part of compteting in events like this, these events are all heart if you dont have it,GET FROM AROUND HERE!!!! "COMPRENDE"

I AM NOY ASHAMED FOR PIONTING OUT OBVIOUS FACTS, COREY IS A QUITTER! COREY CANT HANDLE INTIMIDATION! AND I KNOW I COULD HAVE DONE A MUCH BETTER JOB THAN SUPER SENSITIVE NICE GUY COREY. HE IS THE ONLY THING ABOUT THAT SHOW THAT GOT ON MY NERVES.
Wow - by the looks of those capital letters, you must be little mr. amazing. Tell us more of your abilities....we're all just dying waiting for your update.
Yeah, honestly. You may view Corey as weak, but if everyone viewed strength the same way you do (which apparently is inclusive of such activities as flagrantly belittling others that you do not even know and prattling off in such a way that leaves readers wondering if your brain doesn't just happen to be seeping out of your nose) I think the world would have even greater problems than it does. As it is, those who do view it as such have caused enough, so there is no need to add to those by seeking to insult others.
Ok, its obvious we have some really sensitive people who love corey....awwww. lets just read everything else on this page..hmmm, well maybe it written a little different, but it all says the same thing. corey did not deserve to on that show... bottom line!! watch one episode and tell corey does anything besides come up with excuses or complain. those tribes compete with heart, there are no sponsors or endorsements. that is a way of life for them, and does anyone think nice guy corey earned their respect??? nope... if anything he was more disrespectful than anything, so we can stop attacking me for being blunt and stay the topic" WHAT A LOSER" theres some more caps for you...sweetie.
Look, sugar, Corey isn't my favorite athlete. I simply happen to be capable at objectively looking at a situation and making an observation about it. Yes, Corey did plenty of things on the show I would not do and that I think were wrong choices. Regardless of such, I wouldn't go so far as to say he didn't deserve to be on that show. He seems to have a different view on athleticism than the others that is based less on winning, and more on the sights and experiences around oneself. And sure, that's not going to get him a win on the show, but having a mixed dichotomy of personalities is incredibly healthy and necessary to the makeup of any group of people. If everyone was really cutthroat and trying to one-up each other, it would have caused unnecessary drainage of energy and mental clarity among the athletes. Corey may not have one the competitions, but when he didn't win, he certainly was a great supporter of the others, and I think his being on the show was a very good thing. As for the respect of the tribes, you don't know if that's true. It's possible that it is, certainly. But in my life, I have often found that kindness can consistently earn my respect more than plenty of other things. Corey certainly is a kind person, and that may have impressed upon those tribes as much as the others' drive to win did. However, we haven't asked any of those tribes ourselves, so anything we say is mere speculation.
He did have heart it was seen on the last competition which he could have won if he had not capsized had to be rescued which they did not show him or Mark being taken out of the water. Sometimes being super competitive is not in everyone nature though it is a competition.
Corey was my least favorite of the bunch, but I think he did belong in the competition. In the ice race, when Brad decided not to compete because being whipped really went against his principles, I think Corey decided not to compete to show support for Brad. That's just my opinion, but that's the impression I got. I also gained more respect for Rajko in that episode because he was trying to make it possible for Brad to compete without sacrificing his beliefs.
Hi, author of the post here... I quickly felt ashamed for posting such a nasty comment about someone I don't know. I was in the heat of the moment, and although I don't agree with all of his actions, I certainly don't have the right to judge him- especially on the internet. I want to apologize.
