Make 1 show with both Les Stroud and Bear Grylls (?). Not a competition, but rather a collaboration. The two camps are divided and I have read Les express that he finds Bear's show worthy, and that he doesn't want his fans cutting Bear down for what he does.
Les and Bear in the same survival situation, working together would be the coolest show ever made. I think. It might also let each camp realize that they both have tremendous merit and educational value. I'd love to see Les bite a live fish, or watch Bear actually cook some food and eat it well done!
I was trying to watch Conspiracy JFK Assassination but it was just too cutty. Why do you allow that? The cutty, twitchy, frenetic, zoomzoomzoom, presentation is simply overboard. I know it's this year's TV production cliche. But you're turning off viewers. I tried to just listen and not look at the screen but eventually I just gave up. This is just ridiculous.
long live cash cab ...........where did it go?.............. why is it back?............ may bee dsc should use its own site to poll viewers on what should be shown as CASH CAB should have never gone away in the first place.....is it or is it not.. still about the money
I am with you Lynn. Deadliest Catch; Planet Earth and my very favorite...CASH CAB are now the only shows I make a point to watch. Let Spike and others run bike; hot rod etc. type of shows. I want to learn something I am actually interested in on Discovery.

Yes, I would love to see more Hazard Pay with Curt. I think the opening with his family is great and so many parents can identify. I love the shoow because what you see is him (the real guy) and is not afraid to be scared or make a mistake...fresh breath of air. Keep airing more episodes!
I agree with klynnh328. For Example: Viewing Deadlist Catch once was informative. Viewing it twice was repetitive and boring. How can any responsible programming executive think that this show warrents to be shown on a weekly basis. There is soooo much more interesting material in this world that deserves airtime than this predictable show. I refuse to watch it and would rather watch grass grow. Please, Please, Please take The Deadliest Catch off the air and replace it with something that has a little more substance and value.
I love the oil, sweat and rigs show and also the deadliest catch show..they do a great job of making those jobs seem really interesting and makes you think...about stuff no one ever really thinks about...
I agree with klynnh328 and rllong. Deadliest catch...yet annother was't of air time. its been said but im saying it again. If you've seen it one you've seen it 100 times, its all the same.
can you please give us a break from deadliest catch? it is always on... is there some kind of incentive to have it on 24/7? if everyone has not caught up on the latest shows they just aren't tuning in....
I love Deadliest Catch. It's the best thing Discovery has done since Mythbusters, and that's saying a lot.
I hate Man vs. Wild. After watching Survivorman with Les Stroud, this "Bear Show" is a serious slap to the face for ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about survival. If I want to watch a little boy playing Rambo, I'll watch my son, thanks.
I can't stand "spin-off" shows. Come up with a new idea, or show re-runs of the old stuff already.
I would love to see the host's of Surviorman, Man Vs Wild, Mythbusters and Wild Things go head to head in a "Survivor" type show. All of them on an island w/ nothing but a multitool. I'm not sure of what the actual object of the show would be, but anything to prove who is the greatest survivor out there.
I'm not really sure where to start. My favorites are Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, and Survivorman.
I also really enjoy Deadliest Catch. With that program, I am a little bit torn. It is without a dought incredible drama, but how much farther can it be taken before real tradegy strikes on camera? Do we need to see that?
Mythbusters should be around for years and years. The chemistry between the cast is awsome. Also, who wouldn't want to spend their days trying to figure out the answers to big kid questions?
Dirty Jobs is all about Mikes Rowes ability to absorb the punishment that we all face everyday in some way or another. His ability to apply intelligent humor to the situations also allows us to take a step back and give a chuckle at ourselves.
Survivorman is amazing for its honesty. More so than Man vs. Wild. You can really tell that by the end of the program, Mr. Stroud isn't really enjoying all that camera gear.
Planet Earth was the best nature series since Blue Planet. It would have been THE best if I owned a HDTV. Rest assured though, as soon as I purchase my first HDTV, the entire Planet Earth DVD collection will be right there on the checkout counter with it.
OK. On to my requests for new shows.
First, throw us into the back country of the US and Canada. Remind us that North America has an incredible wilderness heritage. Big Sky Country, Appalachian Trail, Rocky and Smoky Mountains, Yukon, and Sierra Nevada are words meant to invoke emotion. At least they do to me.
Finally, tell us about the amazing medium of communication. It is changing history right before our eyes, and few of us have the time to recognize it.
Well, thats it. Thanks again for taking the time to here us viewers.
i am so sick of looking at the TV listings and seeing entire DAYS of Deadliest catch, and its so repetitive on the show....PLEASE play more paranormal shows like a haunting, its the only good one on TV and its barely on anymore!
I've been watching DS in Korea for nearly six years. I love American Chopper and Mythbusters.
I'm glad that over the last year or so DC has changed direction away from progs showing the monotony of fancy car jobs; If I ever see Chip Foose on TV again I'll scream.
How do they do that? Everything you wanted to know are good too. Can't say that I'm sold on Asia Hour. There seem to be so may progs about big construction jobs and big construction job machinery that they all blur into one big one - The Biggest Ever! The Biggest Ever!
Quite right, Man v Wild is fraudulent in the extreme. Cheap too I bet.

I really enjoyed watching "Everest: Beyond the Limit" last winter and while I think it's coming back again this year I think it would be interesting to do different shows involving climbing. What these people do is highly admirable and interesting to watch. While I know Everest is the pinacle of this, it would be good to see the journey on other mountains. Maybe focus on the Seven Summits?
