Excellent Show.

My wife and I can't get enough of it.
We are not familiar with the british original, but we know this is going to be an instant hit in the U.S.A.

I just read somewhere on line, that it might travel to different cities.

Hopefully they will tape in Boston in the near future.

This format will never get old because every fare reacts differently. The host does a great job in helping to create some very funny moments (sometimes at fare's expense).

Great job...keep it up.

I think this is a great show. Its cool to see totally random people off the street have a chance to win something.

They should do it later at night when all the drunks are going home though. That would make it a bit mroe interesting.

Great show.

Cash Cab is a lot of fun to watch and play along with. It's interesting to see what answers the unwitting contestants can come up with.

The show is a bit more appealing because the host is from the next town over from me.

Me and my family love Cash Cab!
We have one suggestion. We love when folks go for double or nothing and are always disappointed when they don't. You should let them, and us viewers, see the question anyway to see if they could of answered it correctly. Seeing their disappointment if they could have answered it right would be another great twist.

PS: How do you get pre qualified?

Hey, was watching my new favorite game show (Cash Cab) again yesterday. I gotta tell you it is so much fun to watch peoples reaction and see how great your host Ben is with the people in the cab. My roomates and I seem to all find ourselves locked in front of the TV when it is on. Great Job Discovery Channel and a big thumbs up to Ben for doing such a great job and keeping us laughing.

I'm impressed with Ben, the host. He's witty, he makes great faces for the camera, he comes up with goofy voices, and he has a natural delivery--and he's also a careful driver! In one episode I saw a bike messenger come dangerously close to his side door, but Ben skillfully manuvered the cab without blowing his lines or losing his cool.

A really fun show!

Just started watching Cash Cab this week after another family member discovered it while recovering from knee surgery. Can't wait for our next trip to NYC to try to find the correct cab. Also, we've become addicted to the show. Would love it if Cash Cab would also be run on the weekends for those of us who can't always make it home from work in time. Smile

I agree that Cash Cab is an excellent show. I actually am able to answer many of the questions so end up feeling pretty darn smart, as opposed to how I feel when I watch Jeopardy...

Ben is a real character and I don't think the show would work well without him. His facial expressions are priceless!

I WANT TO RIDE IN THE CASH CAB!!

I CANNOT STAND this show (Cash Cab). Every time 6PM rolls around on a week day, I can count on the fact that I won't be watching the Discovery Channel. Normally I really don't watch TV besides turning it on every once in a while to watch Discovery, but I know there's no point bothering at 6PM. Cash Cab is, in my opinion, the worst and most mind-numbingly boring show I've ever seen on the Discovery channel. It's like they're trying to cash in on the whole reality show fad by pushing out the most mediocre show imaginable. It's not surprising to me that they play it at 6PM, because that's usually the time at night when I'm least likely to turn on the TV. Really, even if it was a somewhat good show, it does not belong on Discovery. I can't remember a time when Discovery channel was about cheap reality shows that throw its viewers into a boredom induced trance.

An excellent program my wife and I enjoy. We Tivo the west coast afternoon showings, then watch them during lunch the following day. Ben is great, the questions are good and the people in the cab provide a great deal of entertainment.

I signed up for this to express the same sentiment. I really like the show, but when the contestant chooses to bail with the money, we and they need to see if the video question could have been answered or not.

Cash Cab is a great show! Our entire family watches. Thanks for putting it back on at 6:00 p.m. Everyone's home by that time. We, too, are hoping for new episodes. Ben has got to be one of, if not the best game show host!!!

My wife and I think the Discovery channel has struck gold with "Cash Cab", There is absolutely nothing we would change about the show- Everything is PERFECT! The Intro song ROCKS! Ben Bailey Rules, the photograhy and film crew creative and brilliant, and sorry to say to all those of you who have posted messages asking that the show be moved to their city, Cash Cab works because it IS Manhatten... New Yorker's... and tourists...! A "street shout out" just wouldn't work anywhere else on the planet. It is the perfect mix! Just to clarify that we are not prejudiced, we live in Southern Calif.!!! We watch every night and record when we can't watch it.. but, we are running out of episodes we haven't seen.

This show does NOT belong on Discovery. It just doesnt fit. Its as if Discovery just wanted to fill airtime space. Those addicted have no life. Seriously how can you want to watch people answer questions. I rather have deadliest catch, mythbusters, future weapons... ANYTHING educational. this is as bad as who wants to be a millionair. This isnt what discovery channel is about.

By the way you cant have a poll with only ONE option

Great show!!! I think it would be better to have it in a different time slot though, like 7:00PM to 8:00PM. I recommend this show to everyone i know.
I have another idea, how about Cash Cop? Pull people over for speeding and make them answer questions to avoid an expensive ticket. You might have to wear a kevlar vest for this one.

New York City
THEE
melting pot
of all the WORLD's Populations!

Where are the people of color on CASH CAB??????/

You mean to tell me in the heart of the most culturally diverse city on the planet, there are only White people taking cabs?

I've watched 8 eight episodes of CASH CAB and not one, NOT ONE person/family/couple of non-White origins has gotten into the car.

I love the show otherwise?! It seems uncanny that the host cab driver never picks up anyone who may be black, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, indian, mexican, caribbean, iranian, - what an amazing coincidence! All of the CASH CAB passengers are homogonously WHITE!

Is the Cab Driver/Host racist? - only picking up caucasian/white passengers? Or are the producers and execs the racist culprits? dictating they only pick up white people?

And if someone says that they pick up people randomly - it's really a coincidence - I say you're racist too! I've worked in the TV bizniz and trust me very little is random!

I'm a mixed race (half balck-jamaican and half white-swedish),female, New Yorker who was raised here in NYC all of my 47 years and I can't tell you how much it hurts to realize that racism against people of color is still prevelant... and thriving on the Discovery Channel.

My husband and I love your show. We enjoyed watching it together while preparing dinner and eating dinner. I noticed you have changed the times of the show and I no longer can watch the show. Some of us actually have to work for a living.Smile The new slots of 11:00 am and 5:00pm do not allow me to watch. Please change the schedule back to 6:00pm and 6:30pm.

Please, please, put cash cab back to to 6:00 p.m. or later. We can't see it any other time.
Also, we do still enjoy the reruns, we would love to see some new episodes. Is this possible? The posting from evadnesophia says they never see anyone but white people on the show. I think they must miss most of the episodes. We have seen just about every ethic group on the show. Keep it going!!

Love the show! My brother told me about it and my kids and I record the shows just to watch them. Anyone who doesn't enjoy it probably doesn't like trivia games. Jeopardy is extremely hard for me so of course it's not enjoyable. I love Cash Cab because it is alot of trivia that I learned in school or have read about and should know and have forgotten or I actually do know it.

Great show! Ben does a great job with the questions and interacting with the passengers. It's great to see all the different people getting into his cab and how they handle the questions. Always an entertaining show and even better....you actually WILL learn by watching. Thanks for producing this program.

I discover stuff all of the time watching this show. Facts/questions I find interesting. In any method, the goal of a tv show is to get ratings and more viewers such that the cost of commercial space goes up. Cash Cab has a following as does American Chopper. Hence the reason why these shows should go on. I personally watch the discovery channel's other shows because of shows like these!

evadnesophia, YOU are the RACIST ! You couldn't be MORE WRONG. WHAT show are you watching ? I've seen MANY "RACES" of people on THE CASH CAB. MOST times I've watched, there have been MORE than ONE RACE at THE SAME TIME in THE CASH CAB. You should be ashamed to even have made this post. YOU ARE WRONG and your attack on this FUN show by calling anything about it "RACIST" is off base. Even the questions are MULTI-ETHNIC ! Again, WHAT SHOW ARE YOU WATCHING ?" The JEFFERSON'S ???

What a joke, to say that racism is occuring on THE CASH CAB ! I've seen EVERY RACE of people WINNING MONEY on The Cash Cab. This lady is SOOOOO wrong and OFF-BASE. BEN is GREAT and SO IS THE CASH CAB. SOME people find any way they can to whine about racism, even when it's NOT HAPPENING ! GET A LIFE, evadnesophia and LEAVE RACISM OUT of a TRULY NON-RACIST SHOW.

Ha!, I laugh at the denial of racism. Oh well, I really didn't log on to talk about racism. I like Cash Cab and I never had a problem until today. I saw two things I didn't like. Ben told two Black women they had only one question, he asked, they answered. Finally, at their destination, here comes another question before the all-or-nothing. Also, facts need be checked for questions: Corn rows and dreads are not the same. Ask someone like myself, I have worn corn rows, braids and I now have dreads(natural locks). Corn rows don't take months to achieve and they can be undone right away. Dreads are the opposite. They don't even take the same process to achieve them. I guess because it's all Afro hair, what the hell; Those at Cash Cab don't need to check that fact. Ha!
