I really dont like the name because no one will know how to pronouce it. That's the reason I dont like my name. IMO

Slane...Slo-ane...Sa Lone...People can't pronounce it for anything...the A and E are silent...one syllable...I personally don't think it's that hard...but it is my name so I guess it's different to others...

hmm...I have heard this name before. Don't know why anyone would misprn it. I guess some people just have no idea. Mine name is misprn all the time. It's Mari (mahr ee).
