Everybody's got to eat.

We only get the ads on the Animal Planet version -- along with a huge, unmoving "watermark" logo, to burn into your plasma. But haven't seen intrusive ads in the D-HDT versions so far. (Maybe they only appear at certain times of day.)

Yes it's nice to have discovered HDTH where the program isn't marred with the logo. It appears briefly and fades back to the scenery. KUDOS to whoever has real appreciation for the program and respect for the viewer, finally someone in charge with real intelligence. It seems to be rare in entertainment production.
I can't help wonder about the financial aspects of OTA tv and SAT. There are costs associated with each with OTA we need to have commercials. With SAT we need commercials and subscribe for a monthly fee $50 on up. So any idea of a theoretical cost of the subscription for 15 commercial free channels? I'ld like the option.
