We purchased the lot next to our home to prevent a large residence from being built there. In its place we started constructing a habitat to attract local birds, reptiles, and animals. To date we have seen various birds from hummingbirds to hawks. We are still trying to attract more animals, we have only seen grey squirels and a family of flying squirels. We have a wildlife refuge about 1000 ft. from our property and expected to see more. We do have a black snake and a red rat snake who like to travel through and hang-out in our habitat.
