I wanted to know despite all the wars, population, pollution, ect. Will humans ever evolve into different species, and will they ever evolve into giants in the future? When I mean different, will there be two or three or even seven different species of humans in the future?
Hi Madshark I'm helping out on the forum, because Ted Oakes won't be able to post very often today, and I also worked on the programme.
Human beings are very well travelled, so we can potentially meet, marry and have kids with someone from the next town, next county, or even a completely different continent. Even in the past, human populations were not often totally isolated - think of how far the Roman Empire extended and where its citizens went, for example. Completely isolated populations in completely different environments that would stimulate some extreme form of natural selection, thus simply don't exist for humans, so new species of humans won't start popping up until something radically changes in the way we trade, travel or breed.
