I've always been one big fan of WW2 history in all theaters of operations because not just of the evolution of military tactics but also of the technology that was used at the same time. One thing I've always been fascinated and confused about at the same time was the use of the Navy Depth Charge. Since we cant see exactly what a depth charge is doing under the water i'm forced only to observe the after effects above the surface (if there even real) from movies such as U-571, das boot, etc. So I thought perhaps this would be a good idea for the show to show an example of how a depth charge works and in a way so we can understand how it works underwater and if possible demonstrate how it is a dangerous weapon to a submarine.
